I like the way this sunscreen applies on my combination/oily skin. It is not greasy at all, and has a siliconey texture that I particularly like. However, it leaves behind a ridiculous white cast, so I much rather prefer the tinted version, which has a higher SPF, too (and happens to be my HG face sunscreen).
I acknowledge that it has a strong fragrance, but I happen to like it and hasn’t bothered my skin.
It is quite pricy where I live, and difficult to find, especially during the colder months.
Finally, I wish it came in a pump; I don’t like the tube, as I find it difficult to get all of the product out as it runs out.
Will not repurchase as it is an expensive sunscreen, too much to use all over my body and the white cast is really no joke!

I heard so many good things about this on YouTube, I was pretty eager to try it. Many claim it looks good under makeup and is an all mineral sunscreen. So yes, it is 3% titanium dioxide and 3% zinc oxide. It goes on and feels like a stiff, silicone primer, so I can understand why it would be good under foundation. The fragrance is absolutely overpowering, and it lingers. The smell is like cheap drugstore shampoo for the masses. It reminds me of Head & Shoulders dandruff shampoo combined with Irish Spring bar soap. GAG. For me, that is enough to make me return this, but it also contains red algae extract, which I am sure will break out my face; at the same time, the consistency of this “lotion” is stiff and dry (just like a primer, really), and I think it would make my arms and legs feel dry. I prefer a rich moisturizing cream for my body, and actually don’t mind even a slightly “sticky” moisturized feel on my legs.
PROs:
– non-chemical filters
– works like a face primer if your skin is not irritated by fragrance or algae extract
– contains some good skincare ingredients like squalane, shea butter, panthenol (but there may not be much of these ingredients)
– pretty cheap and you get 5 ounces
– water resistant up to 80 minutes
CONs:
– fragrance is overpowering, lingers all day and does not smell good (think: cheap shampoo from grocery store)
– fragrance is a very “artificial” smell and is not at all like the scents of a “botanical” spa
– alphabetical listing of inactive ingredients makes it difficult to tell whether there is much of any of the good ingredients
– if you can’t use this for your face under makeup because the fragrance irritates your skin or the algae extract breaks you out, the texture of this “lotion” is too dry and stiff for use on arms and legs
