This is supposed to be formulated for dry skin but it’s not hydrating.
Update: Actually, this is the best sunscreen I have ever used. I don’t know why I wrote the previous review. Maybe I hadn’t used it enough times to see its full potential. It is creamy and moisturizing for my combination skin. It offers a super high protection and PPD index. It doesn’t irritate my eyes and it’s non-perfumed too. It gets fully absorbed in about 5 minutes and doesn’t leave a white cast (I do have very fair skin though).

I’ve been using it for about a month or two. It’s a decent sunscreen, at least for my needs – I don’t spend much time in direct sunlight and sun is not intense where I live, but I get tan really quickly. My skin is normal/dehydrated and currently my biggest concern is hyperpigmentation. My spots and scars are flat and don’t have texture but take forever (>6mo) to fully disappear. After using this sunblock I didn’t notice any tan and my spots didn’t get darker, so it worked. I love this kind of simple packaging with a nice pressure sensitive pump – it’s handy and compact. The cream’s texture is lightweight. I can’t say it’s fully absorbs, but blotting it with a tissue takes away excess shine/residue.
Now to the bad news. Packaging says it’s non-perfumed and suitable for sensitive eyes. I never really bought a perfumed sunscreen, so I don’t know about this. My skin is definitely not sensitive, I hardly ever get irritation or reactions, though there have been a few such cases. I was really surprised that my eyes feel slight tingling when the product get near them! I don’t apply sunscreen directly to eyes because I always wear sunglasses, but you know how it all gets mixed on the skin. It’s nothing really serious and (again) blotting fixes the issue. I’m just afraid that people who have more intense reactions will feel uncomfortable. I have used sunscreens that don’t claim they work for sensitive eyes and they were way more comfortable for me than this one.
I will use up this cream, but won’t repurchase. If you have sensitive eyes, beware. Other than that it is a nice sunblock, especially if you can grab it on sale. For dry/dehydrated skin I highly recommend Uriage Cica Cream in SPF version, and other sunscreens form Uriage. It’s a french brand, and I’m not sure about availability, but they make some of my favorite items!
