Bumble and Bumble products do what they say, they’re dependable and if you purchase the largest size, it should last you a year. That’s an economical bottle of product when you divide it by 12 (months). I actually prefer the smaller sizes but my local Sephora is always out-of-stock with them so I’ve purchased the larger bottles/tubes at times. Still a bargain in the long run.
Using this creme on my fine, bleached hair has never damaged it. Once I determine the right amount for the look I am going for that day, my dry hair is held in place with a softness or hardness that I choose. I can brush through the creme, finger through or comb through while wet, the options are there. This styling creme acts like a 3-in-1 product for me. It’s similar to a gel/mousse/root booster yet it’s a creme. No annoying fragrance. If I want any shine I add Argan oil to my hair.
This creme is strong, it lasts until I shampoo it out. I wouldn’t expect anything less from B and b. Just remember to start out with a pea size dollop and adjust the amount from there, otherwise, your hair can get weighted down. I’ve even used it with damp hair and brush rollers and those were mighty waves that lasted!

This cream did nothing for my superfine, low-porosity, wavy hair. It was too heavy and sticky. I tried it a couple of times, but it left my hair weighed down and greasy. I only used a dime-sized amount, so I don’t think I was using too much. This went back to the salon for a refund.

Ok so I have been on the hunt for a bit of a root lifter for the crown of my hair. Also wanted to add a little control to my glossing cream. This fits the bill! I initially started out with the trial size. Then my sister asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I said this and the sunday shampoo. I add this to the crown then finish with adding a little dollup to my glossing cream and work in all over. Dry and style. SUPER and the best part is no fragrance to contend with to make my allergies go overboard. I am happy with this product. I know its been around for a while but its an oldie’ but goodie’ 😉

If I could only have one hair product for the rest of my life, this would be it. It is the most versatile product in my collection. I have relatively fine hair, but a lot of it. You can use a little for light texture or a lot for strong hold. If you apply it to damp hair and brush/comb through, it will hold a side part (Mad Men look). After your hair is dry, you can run your hands through it to break it up (it does not flake) and have it in the same style but with a natural finish. You can blow dry it for bounce and volume and then finish however you want. The smell is super light (similar to the Seaweed line), it washes out easily, and can be used everyday as a base for more structure, or on it’s own. The price isn’t nearly as high ($27 for 10 ounces) as other comparable creams (Oribe’s sculpting cream, $30 for 5 ounces). This is my staple.

I like the extra hold it gives after washing my hair. My hair is healthy and long, so it tends to fall flat pretty easily, but this gives my hair a touch of extra body, regardless of whether I blow-dry or air dry.

I really love this styling creme. I have a pixie cut and I find my hair to be much more workable when I’m using this creme. I use it prior to applying the SumoTech and I love this combination.

Superb: small amount will help lock in perfected style. Maximise the salon effect by using in conjunction with Bumble and Bumble Prep and Thickening Spray! Another B&B winner!

My mom has thin straight hair, tried this product and it didn’t work for her. She gave it to me and I have thick, curly, fizzy hair. This didn’t work for me either. My hair was still frizzy and it didn’t help my curls at all. It’s a shame that 3/4 of this bottle has to be thrown in the trash.

I used to use its a 10 styling cream. This has now been replaced by bumble & bumble. I just love this stuff!

I have natural straight asian hair (no dyeing, chemical treatments done). My hair can get weighed down easily, it is hard to achieve volume that stays or hold certain hairstyles. This stuff gives my hair extra “grip” so that my hair keeps the the style I create. I can achieve insanely BIG hair or perky curls that stay all day. It has a soft matte finish so you won’t get shiny/crunchy hair and yet you will get the control you want/need. I use it strictly for hair styling, particularly when I need my hair to stay put all day.
My boyfriend also has untreated asian hair, and as most asian guys know, their hair can be ridiculously stubborn. My boyfriend wears his hair in a modern slickback (longer, higher on the top and short hair on the sides) so he uses this to gain control of his hair. It gets the hair going in the direction he needs without weighing it down and then uses Bumble & Bumble’s Sumotech to give it flexible hold to finish. It holds the style all day, and he can refresh it by running his fingers through his hair throughout the day as needed.
This is a fantastic styling product as is most of Bumble & Bumbles styling products. B&B products are quite expensive but they really do work and they have some really unique products to help you achieve styles that you wouldn’t normally be able to.
