I rate this product very highly but can’t seem to buy it at this time. Is that is true, what is replacing it?

I bought this back in Oct 2008 & haven’t used it till now (I have lots of hair products & oftentimes I don’t put anything in my hair, so it takes me a while to eventually get to a product if I don’t have use for it right away).
I don’t use this hair glue for spiking (as it’s marketed) but scrunch my damp bob-length hair w/it to enourage the formation of waves & curls as my hair dries. That gives my air-dried bob curl, shape, definition, & hold — & a great beachy, tousled, bedhead look. When the product dries it is definitely cemented into hair & holds everything together without being able to pull it apart, so combing or brushing is definitely out of the question (not that it’s necessary, but it bears mentioning — it’s a super-strong ‘glue’).
As strong & durable as this product is, it washes out of hair quickly & easily w/o leaving any flaky or sticky residue behind. I paid only about $5 for a tube of this when I bought it from Duane Reade. I’m pretty sure it’s probably no longer available on the market since L’Oreal discontinues & changes the products in its Studio Line collection of hair styling products quite regularly. From one year to the next I never find the same items in this line, except maybe for their staple gels (which I don’t really care for). I love their specialty items such as this glue, which sadly seem to be ‘limited edition’ products every time.
A small amount of this is all I need to hand-style my hair (dime size dollop), so the tube I have (5 or 6 oz) will last a really long time. (Plus there are other hair glue products on the market that are really great too or better.)
