While I don’t love all the Redken hair styling products I’ve tried, this one is up there with my favorites, and one I have repurchased. I have fine short layered hair, and it gives it nice volume and hold. I find that with most hair styling gels, mousses, and sprays, less is more. I let my conditioned hair air dry about 60-70%, use a little smaller than a grape sized amount, make sure to work it into the roots, then blow dry with a round brush. Definately adds fullness and volume that lasts all day, without my hair feeling crunchy and dry.
Yes, I would buy this again….if I could find it. I haven’t seen it at my local salons or beauty supply, and am wondering if it has been discontinued!! Will have to search online. It wouldn’t be the first time Redken has discontinued something I love.

Surprised there are not more reviews. Firstly, my untreated natural hair is kind of between thin and medium, somewhat wavy. As I’ve gotten older I found my blow dty and style no longer holds as well as it used to. I started exploring so many products to combat this. I settled on a routine of a root lifting mousse at the roots, a styling cream or mousse on the ends, and hairspray to finish. Ugh. And still not completely satisfied. I tried Stay High one day on a chance.
This gel to mousse has been fantastic! It gives me the volume, control, and hold I have been craving, and I have now replaced 3 styling products with this ONE. My style feels full and controlled, and lasts 2-3 days, which is how often I shampoo.. I apply a quarter size dollop to WET hair, then turban it with an Aquis towel. Thwn do my makeup. Excess and product have been absorbed by rhe rowel by then. Blow dry and style. Occasionally when I use velcro rollers, I get HUGE volume.
It has a light fragrance, that dissipates after drying, not too strong.
The only drawback for me is the nozzle, it takes practice how much pressure to apply without dispensing too much product. Wish I had more precise way iof dispensing it

For fine hair this is a god-send. It comes out as a gel and then morphs to a mousse/gel. Disperses well into wet hair. Gives my fine hair tons of volume when I blow dry. I have been using for air drying my waves and it works ok for definition. It gives me a little crunch that can be scrunched out and gives me a lasting set of waves. I often use it with Paul Mitchell Round Trip.
The only negative I have seen is some flakes occasionally at the scalp line. Not a lot but a few.
