I love the Cote d’Azur scent in Oribe products, and I love the packaging, but this product wasn’t a great value for the cost to me. It is a good blowout spray with a nicely diffused mist and heat protection, so there’s nothing to *complain* about with the product- it just didn’t wow me relative to cheaper alternatives. I picked up a bottle of this after my last hair color appointment, and while I think it’s nice and will definitely finish the bottle, I won’t buy this one again. By itself, it just doesn’t have the styling power I want unless I spray it on small sections as I blow dry my hair, and a few hours later, sometimes my hair will have lost some silkiness and started to feel dry. I get the same/better results with other products just by running them through my hair quickly before drying it.
Kerastase has better blow dry heat protectors, and Biosilk has better shine sprays. My hair stylist works at a salon that sells Oribe and R&Co, and for the cost, R&Co has better styling options, in my opinion. I think the best reason to buy Oribe products in general is if you’re a big fan of the fragrance and packaging. Definitely a brand with solid products, but whether they are worth the cost is questionable.

I don’t love this product but I don’t dislike it either. I think it’s way over priced for the results though. I really love the Gold Lust shampoo and conditioner from Oribe. So have been slowly switching my hair styling products to Oribe as I really like Straight Away straighting balm. I purchased the travel size of Royal Blowout $22 just to try it out before spending $69 for the full size. My hair is naturally curly and prone to damage and frizz. It is thin and I have lots of it as well.
Royal Blowout is pretty much a sprayable dry oil for your hair. It does smell great and leaves my hair shiny and sleek after blow drying and flat ironing. I dont know if I will purchase the full size though because I noticed it was making my hair dried out while I was blow drying with my round brush and my ends looked dryed out too. So weird since it’s an oil. Also, my roots went back to a curl around my hairline and in curtain sections on the top of my hair would get frizzy towards the end of the day. I also noticed an oil feel on my fingers after touching my hair throughout the day too. Ewww.

I have long, medium thick hair and bought this product but didn’t use it for a while as I decided I couldn’t be bothered to go through the process of blow drying my hair properly with a round brush regularly. However, I then found that it makes a big difference even to a rough dry as it really speeds up drying time, and definitely helps with frizz. My hair feels light and soft afterwards, whereas a lot of other products weigh it down. So will, definitely be buying again when eventually the bottle runs out (which will be a while).

Recently I have been trying a lot of Oribe products the Gold Lust shampoo and conditioner work amazing alone!! I decided to try Royal Blow out after reading the great reviews and 70$ for a bottle of spray oil was what I bought I have tried so many brand name products and this had to be one of the worst I have ever splurged on it made my think/medium highlighted bra strap length hair unmanageable and oily needless to say I returned it ASAP for Oribe’s Foundation Mist and Creme For Style hopefully I’ll have better luck with these products but Royal blow out is for extremely thick hair in my opinion I usually don’t have anything bad to say about Oribe but this is over priced oil Lanza Healing oil or light moraccan work the same for a lot less

I love this product! I have thick, coarse hair and it works great to smooth my hair and gives it great shine. Smells fabulous. I do think it’s rather expensive.

I would consider myself a good judge of hair products for dehydrated, frizzy hair so I couldn’t believe I bought such an expensive product that’s really not great. I’ve used it about ten times and I see no benefit, maybe it reduces drying time somewhat, but I think it has added to unmanageability. My hair looks like bed head in the morning and normally it doesn’t need straightening. Maybe I’m using it wrong, I use a small amount in sections. Ugh it’s not a miracle, it’s more the emperor’s new clothes. Disappointing

I Love this stuff!!! I have really thick hair. I’ve been told by several hair dressers that they have never seen someone with so much hair. So as you can imagine blow drying my hair takes forever. About an hour to be exact. Oribe Royal Blowout Hair Styling Spray cuts my blow dry time down a lot! It adds shine to my hair so my hair does not look dry and it smells really good too. I love this product. I would highly recommend it! And I do not highly recommend too many hair products!!!! I even keep the bottle on me at work or when I go out to give my hair an extra boost of shine when my ends start to look dry and frizzy. Try it out 🙂

I hesitated to spend $49 on this, even after reading the rave reviews, but I love this stuff. I have fine, highlighted blonde hair, but a lot of it, with a slight (unattractive) natural wave. I spray it on the bottom 2/3 of my hair and use 6-8 pumps. This spray reduces my blowdry time by 5 minutes and is very effective at straightening out my waves when used with my blowdryer and paddle brush. If I decide to also use a flatiron, the results are even better…I need only one pass with the iron, and the heat seems to help seal the product into the hair to prevent waving later. Even though this seems oil-based, I can go a day without shampooing. And yes, it smells phenomenal. I only gave it 4 lipsticks because I’m less impressed with its frizz control…and I live in Minnesota where the weather humidity is lower most of the year.

Royal blowout, where to start!? for month’s i’ve wanted to try it, desperate for something to pamper my hair with after my kerastase/shu uemura shampoo and conditioning ritual. This is the most luxurious leave in conditioner i have ever used, it’s a spray bottle which i love but it’s not very conditioner like, more like a serum spray, but instantly when your spray it through your hair it leaves it feeling velvet smooth, nourished from root to tip. I’m skeptical of the claims that this product alone actually repairs split ends, i don’t think anything but a cut will do that, but it does a really good job of making your hair look incredibly healthy. I just recently went from platinum blonde to brown to save my hair and make it thicker, this is definitely what my hair needs on its road to recovery, i couldn’t use anything else now because my hair looks impeccable, flawless. From now this will always be a HG for my hair care regime, 1 downside is the price but i’ve had mine for about a month now and its hardly gone down at all, i think because the spray disperses very little but quite evenly so it seems like a lot if that make’s sense? however for severely damaged hair this is a must.

I love this product. I’ve used it for about two years and use it consistently every time I wash and style my hair. I have fine textured curly hair that frizzes very easily. I use Royal blowout when I go strait or when I go curly. Don’t use too much of this product or your hair will look greasy and I only spray the lower 3/4 of my hair… I don’t use it at the roots. It’s on the expensive side of hair products, but when i find something I love, I stick with it. One more bonus… smells fantastic.
