I got a small sample of this from Sephora. As someone who colors and uses a lot of heat for styling, I need products to keep my hair healthy. This product works very well for that! It protects my hair from the heat and smells very nice! The full size is $31, which is not as cheap as I would like, but for a product this good I would definitely consider spending it!

I abuse my hair. I have it colored and highlighted, I blow dry it after every wash and sometimes I even flat iron or wand it. I abuse it and I’ve always been on the hunt for something that fixes that abuse, or hides it. Whatever. The description for this product mentioned that it also extends a blow dry. Riggggght. I had doubts, I couldn’t wrap my head around it. But…
This is the BEST blow dry balm I have ever used!!! Heat activates it. It smells great. And, best of all, my hair looks amazing. First day hair is smooooooooooooth, shiny, my somewhat frayed ends (I always need a trim, it seems) don’t look so fried. Did I mention shiny? Second day hair? Looks like it’s first day hair. Ah-mazing. Today is the third day and as I sit here and write this, I wonder why I should wash my hair. It looks lived in, perfect, tousled. Like something out of an Anh Co Tran photo shoot.
There you have it. Holy Grail status. A first for me.

I’m also the recipient of a small sample tube of this product (in a Sephora gift bag). My only previous Bumble & bumble product was the Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil which I found so horrible that I never tried another single product until this. I have thick, coarse, frizz prone hair but I love what this does to the texture and finished results before I even get around to flat-ironing. It leaves my hair softer and silkier and I can almost leave the house without even bothering with my flat iron. I also like that this offers some UV protection (though I’ve read that protection offered by products is pretty minimal and you’re far better off with a HAT!). I am so pleased with this product, though, that I’m planning on getting the larger sized tube but now I’m wondering if I should try the Straight Blow Dry version. Either way, I am really happy with this and it’s brought me back to reconsider B&b.
UPDATE: I was back at Sephora today to pick up a full sized tube of this stuff. I seriously like it and find that my hair doesn’t get all wonky when I sleep after using this. At first I thought it was a fluke but after my 3rd use and finding the same great result the next morning (I usually wash, dry and flat iron my hair in the evening), I realized I had to buy this stuff. It’s a toss up now as to whether I like this or Living Proof’s Style Extender better. Both are great and I really love this stuff. But after reading an earlier review, I’m now interested in the “straight” version and got a sample of it today when I got the full size of Repair Blow Dry.
