This product works well! it makes you hair feel soft and smooth, I have used it on dry and wet hair – if used on wet hair it helps with frizz!
Also smells very nice, something along the lines of warm clean vanilla.
My only issue with this is that the pump STOPPED working half way through the bottle. I just Stopped rising like it did before. I cant do anything about it! so now in order to get product out of the bottle i have to tip it and patiently wait for the oil to drip out.
Its become a pain to use this product due to the crappy packaging (not to say they will all be like this, Its prob just my luck that I got a faulty lid)
Overall i’m happy with this product even though I’ve had bad experiences with this brand in the past.
If you have damaged hair this item is very much worth giving a try!!!

I swear this stuff is a miracle. For 5 years I have been doing an extremely heavy highlight on my fine, dark blonde hair and it was pretty dry and brittle after so much processing. About 6 months ago I decided to go dark with my hair and because it was so dry, my hair soaked up more color than anticipated and ended up black. After crying about it for an entire day I went back to the salon and asked them to strip my hair. By the time I was done, my hair was breaking off constantly and was destroyed (it even had the kinky little ends from being so dried out.) I bought this elixir about 2 months ago and it has done a 180 on my hair. I put a drop in if I am letting it air dry otherwise, a drop in before I blow dry and a drop in before I straighten/ curl to act almost as a heat protector. I’m not sure if that’s what it’s meant for but it works. You really can go overboard but I just apply to the ends of my hair being very careful not to get it close to my roots otherwise my hair is really weighed down and just has a gross texture to it. I think it’s worth the price and I’m not one for spending a lot of money on prestige brand hair products because I think there are a lot of dupes out there but this stuff cannot compare to anything I have ever tried. The only thing I really don’t care for is once you start to get toward the bottom of the bottle, you can’t use the dropper because it isn’t long enough but it works well enough that I can look past that. Take a risk and try this if you’re considering it…its totally worth it.

The Doppler is great so it doesn’t spill or leak. The smell is AMAZING! But for $25 I can get better

I honestly cannot say enough great things about this product. I have very long, color treated hair that has a tendency to become very dry. After applying this serum to my hair, my hair was so soft I couldn’t stop running my hands through it. The dropper threw me off at first, but I used about 5 drops (I know it seems lime a lot, but I have waist length hair). Yes, it is a little pricey, but it is worth it and then some. Love, love, love this! I also use the shampoo and conditioner from this line, which I am sure has added benefits, but this product is now my savior!!

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT serum. I love and need oil for my hair …. my hair is long, thick and color-treated which unless I take care of my hair can get dry especially on the ends …. I love Shu Uemura’s Essence Absolue, as well as the serum from Oribe and Drybar however, they are pricey …… I have looked for replacements and have a few that I like as well, however, the Mending Elixir has them all beat …. the price is way better than Shu Uemura, smells delicious and works great for my hair type ….. at first I was not impressed as the design of the bottle dropper threw me off as it seems that it dispenses the tiniest amount, however, the tiniest amount is all you need …. I made the mistake of using two pumps and although it did not seem like enough serum, it was actually too much …… on wet hair, the Mending Elixir works great at defrizzing, adding shine, making my ends smooth and and making my natural waves look better …… I am impressed when my hair dries at how nice it looks ….. even though this product is recommended for wet hair, I add a drop to my dry hair and it works great as a refresher, plus makes my hair smell so nice (I love the scent.) I love the product, but do dislike the dispenser as well as this product is hard to find ….. I hit up a few stores that normally sell Fekkai and was informed that they were not aware of this product being stocked, so I did have to order online. Since using this product, I have had compliments from family and friends asking me what is different about my hair as it looks really good ….. the only change I have made to my routine is adding the Mending Elixir, so the difference in my hair must be due to the Mending Elixir, which obviously has made a change for the better on my hair.

I have used many kinds of serums for the hair and to date, nothing has ever made my hair feel the way this product does. I will admit, the packaing did not get a full five stars for me, it is indeed a luxe looking glass bottle but figuring out how to dispense it was tricky. If you have this shipped to you, the bottle’s mechanism can causes it to leak. The cap is basically a dropper…you simply unscrew it and you’ll find an elegant glass dropper, you press the top of the cap to get it to work and its the top cap button that can cause leaking. The serum itself is clear but the bottle is a deep marine blue, which simply adds to the experience of using this product. I also gave it four stars for price…you do get a small bottle for around twenty-five U.S. dollars however…a little goes a very long way, so perhaps that helps off set the expense.
The formula itself? It smells amazing…I cant even begin to describe it, it’s incredibly beautiful, but that isn’t all, because this stuff actually does what it says! I applied two drops to damp hair and immediately could feel a difference in my ends. I warmed a drop or so in my palm and applied it the next day to smooth down midshaft to ends after curling and my hair looks and feels healthy and shinier. Bonus is that it does hold onto the scent and it’s a really sexy vanilla sandalwood scent, so that’s just wonderful in my opinion.
You CAN go overboard with this stuff, it’s easy because it feels so good to apply it, you can just feel it nourishing your hair. However, over application can soften the hair to a point that you cant get it to curl. However, what I liked is that it didn’t make the hair look dirty or oily, but did weigh it down enough so that it didn’t have that much volume. But even despite that, my hair looked so healthy and the shine….LOVE! I couldn’t keep my hands out of my hair! So there you have it. I color treat my hair and I use hot tools, if you do too, I would invest in a bottle of this. It certainly works hard for the money, honey!
