OMG while researching KM products, I came across this. I have used powder in the past and it always ended up white and horrible looking. After listening to the video from KM, I had to get this product. Today I used it for the first time, I love it. I washed my hair the night before and so it was pretty soft. This gave me that perfect bed head tousled hair. Yes, I will purchase again. I am purchasing a backup soon. If you want that tousled, just got out of bed look, grab this.

I have thick long hair. I dont apply any heat and I was looking for solution to add volume.
My friend a hair stylist recommended it to me. I was quite skeptical but I got it anyway.
Its very light, cute pink packaging with the holes in the smiley shape.
The powder is very fine, white and feel quite weird.
I put it into rows on right and left between the middle of my hair. I apply it stright from the packaging and then I tousle it. It totally works. Hair feels a little weird, not very nice in touch and the scent isnt noticeable.
The volume is really nice considering that I have a lot of hair. Each time I tousle it again during the day it goes up again. Again, again and again. All day like that.
I would definitely recommend it

I have mixed feelings on Kevin Murphy’s Powder Puff. I was slightly reluctant to try it as I’ve tried some other KM products and have been pretty disappointed by the results they give. I’ve heard a lot of good things about PP and saw an instructional video for how to use it so I thought I’d give it a try. First off the Pros:
– gave decent volume around the crown of my hair
– was easy to apply and work with
– no strong smell (I dislike hair / skin products with a strong fragrance)
– washed out cleanly
– even though the powder is white it absorbed fast and disappeared into my hair
And the Cons:
-volume only lasted a few hours
– my hair felt sticky and I could feel that I had a lot of product in my hair
– I had to use quite a lot of it to get any noticeable volume
– it only created volume around the crown of my hair, the rest of my hair looked flat
– it’s expensive
Overall I felt that it didn’t really perform the way a $25 professional grade product should perform. Expensive doesn’t always necessarily mean better!

I am amazed by this! The first product that actually does what it is meant to do!!
I don’t like that it feels liquid like when rubbing, but I’ll deal with it.
I did a youtube review and demonstration on it…

I’m a little disappointed with this product. Here’s a bit of background – I love products like this – powders which you can sprinkle onto your hair to give it some ‘guts’ and volume. I’ve previously used Aveda’s version, as well as Osis Dust it (which I much prefer). Compared to Dust it, Powder puff’s powder is finer. As a result, you need to use a lot of it to achieve a noticeable result – I find myself sprinkling in heaps to get the same result that one ‘shake’ of Dust It gives. Furthermore, this product costs much more than Dust It. The effect is great though – I sprinkle it onto dry hair at the roots, mess it up a bit and get good volume. The packaging is also very cute! I’ll return to Osis once I use this up.

This was my first and last Orly polish. It is a sheer white with pale pink tones, made in the USA. The formula is too thin and applies unevenly, pools on the nail and looks very streaky. Even after a base and three coats it doesn’t provide an even look – so unfortunate! I’ll be going back to my old favourites OPI and Butter London.

What a polish nightmare. Stay away from this loser. To start with the brush is very small and it takes several strokes to apply the polish, secondly the formula is thin and watery and it floods the cuticles and pools badly. Thirdly, as is common with sheer polishes it streaks very badly. I used 2 coats and while I like the overall sheer wash of color in the end result, there are better polishes out there that accomplish the same result without the hassle. I like the wide rubber grip top but it’s a shame the little brush is substandard. I have much better brushes in my Wet n Wild 1.99 polishes. Orly is threes times that at $6 and I would expect a better more professional brush. This did dry pretty quickly though and it is an appropriate polish for when you want a natural look or need an office friendly polish color.

in my search for “thee” hg sheer ivory color (some people say “nude”) i decided to try this color, based on the praise of the brand as a whole. RUBBISH. i wish my sally’s beauty supply would just stop selling the orly line altogether because of my hatred for this one color. (i do love their “rage” polish, however; it is magnificent.) powder puff could be great–it’s a good sheer ivory, very pretty, cool-toned, nice–if it weren’t for its horrible streakiness. it really sucks. two coats is streaky & uneven, three coats is too thick & gunky. skip this one & buy two cheap sally hansen ones instead. it’s total crap.

To use it for a french manicure it is very streaky and to use it all over it gets thick and uneven. Trash.

It’s a grayish white color. great for a french manicure. I love it for that. I don’t think I could wear it as an all over color. I do love it .

I absolutely love this color. Creamy sheerish white. I’m usually very happy with Orly nail polishes and find that they stay on really well with minimal chipping for days. This one is the exception. I’ve only had it on one day and it’s starting to chip. I use base coat and top coats. I also wish the brush was a little wider. With a thin brush like this it tends to get a little streaky if not applied quickly enough. Won’t repurchase which is a shame as I said before I love this color.

I love it. I was trolling the beauty blogs one day with a problem. I am prone prickly heat. My grandma had gifted me an old powder box with puff. I filled it with my choice of powder. It worked wonders. Now my problem was the puff. It was made in the 1950s and i would not be surprised if it was made of the same foam as a car seat. Trying to apply it left me in a cloud of dust like the foxy red head in an old cartoon. I was wasting tons of powder and it was getting all over. So, i reached read every review i could get and bought a large blue caron powder puff. It is so beautiful and soft i could just pet it all day. It fit nicely in my jar. The ribbon loop was easy to hold and control the puff. I could pick up only the powder i needed, or more if i chose to. Wile applying i did kick up some powder but not a cloud of it. Some times the old ways are still the best. However i can not say about washing. I never needed to. I would recommend you contact caron. In summery. One of the best things i ever did and would highly recommend every women owe one.

This really is DIVINE! It’s so light and soft I don’t even feel this on my skin when I apply my powder! It gives a really lovely nice soft coverage so it looks really natural!
i bought it at the Caron Boutique in Paris at the Rue St. Honore! it was a wonderfull experiance!
I clean it by holding it in front of my blowdryer and blow the powder out of it with cool air! so simple! they can NOT be washed!
It’s my fav. and most luxurious make up tool!

Divine, featherlight powder puffs made of goose down float on your hand and are an absolute luxury. Comes in large or min and many shades, green and peach being my favs. Tip: do not listen to any SA who tells you they can be washed, they cannot!
