I see several bad reviews for this hairspray. I have baby-fine hair, which is very hard to keep in its place. This hairspray is the best I’ve every used! I only need to lightly spray it to keep my hair in place all day! It’s not greasy at all. Doesn’t leave a residue that looks “sprayed” either. I can’t help but wonder if the other reviews are for another product!!? I read that some people don’t like the smell. It smells like any other hairspray I’ve ever used, but milder. I’ve had the same bottle for 3 yrs and I’m just about to run out. I’m saddened to see that I can’t buy it anywhere now. It’s been discontinued on Amazon, EBay, Lucky Vitamins and 3 other sites my “search” pulled up.

For a natural hair spray that isn’t over priced, it works well. The scent took a little getting used to, but now, I love it. It has a natural scent that evaporates from your hair so that it doesn’t smell overly perfumed like other commercial brands. I find that it does hold my hair in place, but if I used too much, it will have flakes of product in that area that I oversprayed. I wash every other day, so it held my hair until the next wash. It is a much better, healthier alternative to the highly commercial, harsh chemical based hair sprays out there. At first use, I wasn’t overly happy with it, but I stuck with it, and now I like it and find that it does hold my curls. I found that I can use it with other brands, for example, I can use a hair gel from another brand, and it works the same as it would with the Aubrey Gel. I tried the Regular hair spray and found that the Super Hold works better for me.

Worst product ever. This hairspray worked more like a heavily scented spray oil on my hair. It added a greasy, weighed down look, and the scent was way too overpowering. I used it twice and had to rewash my hair both times ( I gave it the benefit of the doubt) to get rid of the greaseball look and the overpowering scent. I definitely do not recommend.

This product is just okay. I find that I have to use very little or it weighs my hair down. The scent is a light herbal. I don’t find it to be as strong as the previous reviewer found it to be and I happen to really like it, but it might not suit someone who prefers mainstream scents (it does contain balsam,sandalwood, cedarwood, and grapefruit oils which sums up the scent). I did once grab this by accident thinking it was something else and I used it on my wet hair before blow-drying and it seemed to work a little better this way on my fine hair. Overall I don’t love it and probably would not buy again. You can get this in regular or strong hold. I have the regular, which isn’t stiff or sticky and keeps my hair from frizzing up. This costs around $8 at vitacost, a couple of dollars more at Whole Foods.

Oh no, this was a waste of money for me. I’ve been looking for a truly natural hairspray, with no polymers. This product has a good ingredients list, but I really should have opened it and sniffed it in the store. It was a strong balsam-sandalwood scent (similar to a sweet patchouli blend) that just does *NOT* go away. If you’re planning to wear a sandalwood or patchouli perfume, this hairspray will harmonize nicely with it. Otherwise, you’ll probably find the scent a bit distracting. This product’s hold is light but adequate.
