I LOVE THIS STUFF!! It is a great product for definition, texture and body and it doesn’t weight down my fine, thinning hair.

This is the perfect product that keeps my hair style going and the flyaways gone. I have really thic hair that I have to have thinned and a side swept bang and this product is percent for keeping everything in its place! I just use a small pea size dot, rub between my fingers to heat up and lightly smooth over my bangs and freshly straightened hair. Perfect!

Currently have an angled, layered bob style that I am trying to grow out. I like my hair to have volume and texture and this fiber really delivers on texture. I use Redken GUTS for volume…
I do not use a lot of this product – not even a full pump so although it is a tad pricey it’s lasted at least 4 months now. I rub together in my hands and then scrunch/pull/twist into my layers and bangs (after drying w/ round brush and blow dryer). I love the smell and it really achieves the “piece-y” look.
Will repurchase!

I have really mixed feelings about this product…..
I have very short, fine & straight silvery-gray brown hair, and it just takes a tiny bit of this to give me the piecy look that I am after.
That being said, it just does not last very long….
still looking for the HG.

Great product. I have long layered hair and I blow dry upside down – then rub 2 pumps of this in my palms and squish through my hair and volia = instant volume and beachy waves.

Unlike most who reviewed this so far, I have thick, 3A curls. Lately, I’ve been washing my hair at night, applying styling cream and sleeping on damp hair. In the morning, I use a bit of this product through my curls (that are flattened to my head when I wake up) and it totally transforms my pancake-like curls into full, shiny curls. It gives them a quick wake up call, gets rid of the frizzies and works like magic! I love this product (I also like the little pump that it comes in and the product smells wonderful, too).

This stuff is FANTASTIC! I have long (almost waist length) relatively fine blonde hair and waxy/texturising products NEVER work on my hair – they leave it greasy and heavy and yuck! But this stuff is awesome. I initially used it to give my layers some definition by using half a pump and, after emulsifying it between my hands, rubbing it underneath and lightly gliding it over the top to smooth and define. But my hairdresser last night showed me a great tip – put half a pump on your hands, emulsify between them and then ‘clap’ the stuff all over your hair – it sounds weird but it makes the product sort of ‘flake’ all over your hair and then you lightly brush it through so you never end up with clumps and it goes on evenly. It’s a good tip for those who are finding it weighs their hair down they ‘rub’ it through. I will definitely be repurchasing.

I have fine hair (but tons of it) with layers and wanted something to give me a piecy effect to bring out the layers. Most products for that are targeted toward short hair, but mine is a few inches past my shoulders. I liked this product fine when I wear my hair straight, but like another reviewer said, it seems to wear off after awhile. I recently started trying to make my hair look more tousled by wrapping sections of hair around curling iron barrel (not using clamp) and this stuff is the key to making that look work. After I blow dry my hair straight I put some of this in to give my hair some grip for the iron. Helps hold the wave all day and gives a nice piecy look. Once done curling I rub a bit more product in my palms and then run by fingers through the curls to break them up. Really love this stuff. Perfect for this look and smells good.

I like it! It makes your hair look nice and piece-y. It provides a bit of shine, and smooths my hair down. I have short hair, so it was easy to overdo it with the Microweb Fiber–a full pump is too much! Just smells lightly of styling product–fresh and clean and a bit sweet.
It is a bit heavy but I don’t mind. It’s a bit spendy, but again, you don’t have to use much (just a bit on my frizzies, and some on the ends!). I’m not crazy about the pump style–you can’t see how much is left, and it pumps out a lot more tan I need (although the packaging looks nice and elegant!)
I might consider repurchasing this.
UPDATE: The piece-y effect is short lived. An hour after applying the product, my hair looked the same as it did before I applied product. I might have to play with this a bit more to figure it out (which just seems silly for a hair product!)

I have fine, straight hair that is shoulder length with layers. Although I use the blow dryer every morning to put life into my hair, it always falls flat after an hour or two. This product, however, does a great job of adding definition to my hair, making it seem less lifeless. I style my hair by first applying gel to damp hair and then blow drying the underneath layers to flip out with a round brush and the top layers to curl under. Then I apply a pea sized amount of Sebastian Microweb Fiber to my fingertips and spread it evenly among all my fingertips. I very sparingly apply the product just to the ends of my hair to give it definition, and once I’ve basically applied all of it to the ends of my hair, I use the residue that remains on my fingertips to smooth the hair right around my face and plump up the roots just a bit. Although my hair still becomes flatter during the day, the definition on the ends remains, making my hair appear more styled and less limp.
