This is the only product, combined with the Rene Furterer Acanthe leave-in conditioner that holds my curls and keeps them intact and not frizz. I wouldn’t use it solo because it’s not heavy enough, but the combo works great.

This does a decent job of enhancing my curls, but at $38 US for 5 oz., I really can’t recommend it. Mousse also seems to waste a fair amount of product. I only recently started wearing my hair curly (natural) so I’m by no means an expert on products for curly hair, but the only other product I’ve tried, B&B’s curl conscious cream, is much better, and it’s $29 for 8.5 oz.

Best product I’ve used so far – the only one that doesn’t make my curls crunchy. I didn’t have an issue with frizz or breakouts on my face (my stylist says some have skin reactions to Shu products). Bottle disperses product well, not too much comes out when used. Even though it is expensive, I will repurchase.

This mousse is just so-so on my fine, wavy, fuzzy hair. It’s really not any better than Paul Mitchell’s Sculpting Foam at half the price. Smells wonderful like all of the Shu styling products. I will use this bottle up but will not repurchase.

I bought this product because my stylist recommended it for my curls. I love the creamy texture of this product; it feels like whipped cream. It make my curls feel soft and dewy – NEVER crunchy. I had to give it 3 lippies because it doesn’t control frizz very well..I don’t want ‘lion’ hair! Haha. I purchased this for $36 dollars..I’d probably repurchase if it wasn’t so pricey.
