Garnier, you nailed it with this product!! I have fine hair that reacts to humidity and have had a hard time finding a gel that works for my hair after my last product was discontinued. It made my hair thick and manageable without weighing it down or becoming tangled. My style stayed in place on day 2 as well after wetting down and re styling bangs. I have been so frustrated with my bangs curling up after styling that I tried to transition to a side-swept style but that did not work. So happy I found this product, on my way to but more while sale is still on and going to try the conditioner as well….

This really gives my roots volume if I blow dry head over heels. My hair is fine and gets greasy fastly. With this it stays fresh longer!

I am going through (wasting) way too many mediocre drug store products. I figure it’s only $5 or so – what’s the harm but I’m beginning to see all the wasted product as I end up chucking the products.
I feel neutral at best about this product. It has the texture of a thick pudding. Doesn’t make my hair look more plush or voluptuous — just more of the same but maybe a smidgen smoother.
The scent is fruity and completely non offensive and not overwhelming.
Will be throwing out tube.

Love this stuff!! Have fine hair that frizzes with humidity. Have tried many products over the years with varying results. This is hands down the best. The gel thickens my hair a bit and gives great hold without stickiness or weighting it down. It’s like it is not even my hair – and that’s a good thing.

I tried a sample and this worked great on my fine hair! I didn’t even need to put extra product like I usually do. I think it’s better for fine hair, though. My hair was so soft all day! I kept looking in the mirror to check my hair. It goes well with the shampoo and conditioner.I will definitely purchase.

I don’t blow dry my hair often because my hair is very thick and it takes a while to do. I saw this at the store and thought I’d give it a try.
I really don’t like this product. It does cut the drying time down and did add quite a bit of volume. However, it left my hair feeling sticky and I used very little. It feels like syrup dried in parts of my hair. I’ve tried similar products that don’t do this. Don’t waste your money, but something else.

smells great, inexpensive, but doesn’t work.
no matter how much or little I use all this product does is add extra unnecessary build up, clings to split ends, makes hair hard to brush through which in turn adds to breakage.
After using I dont see any more volume or thickness. it makes my hair dry.
threw it in the trash.

I got the same volume while using this to blow dry as I do every other product. I will use for every day styling but won’t purchase again and it definitely won’t be used for special occasions, vacations, etc.

I agree with the first reviewer. I really like this product, and I didn’t expect much at first, since I haven’t really meshed with Garnier products in the past. Lately I think they have been turning out better products and this one works for me! It gives my hair plush(!) volume and has a nice scent, IMO. I don’t find it sticky or grimy, it just leaves my hair full and shiny, and I am quite happy. Great price, I would repurchase.

Wow, this stuff works great! I just finished drying my hair and BAM, big hair! It says it’s a “blow dry bodifying treatment” with heat protection to boot. The smell isn’t my favorite, but it’s not horrible. My hair is pretty fine and a little longer than shoulder length. I put probably about a quarter-size amount all over my damp hair, dried it at the roots first, then some upside down until it was mostly dry, then used a round brush just on the top of my hair. It’s definitely a noticeable difference. It isn’t sticky or crunchy. I got it at Walmart for about $5. Great drugstore product!
