I have fine thinning hair that gets oily really fast. I’ve tested many, many products to try and give my hair more body and thickness. Out of my experiments my favorite spray on texturizer is Blow Pro anti aging density spray it works so well, but their volume mousse left me disappointed and I continued my search… I’ve tried kerastase (okay), Living proof (awful) nexxus (pretty good) Alterna (ok) etc. nothing especially thrilling.
I bought this on a whim (it was on sale) and forgot about it in my drawer… After my living proof plumping mousse disaster I was rummaging through my products and decided to try it, WOW. My hair was so much fuller and had ‘guts’ and looked so shiny but weightless. I can easily pull a brush through it, unlike the living proof that left my hair stuck together. My husband commented that my hair smelled really nice.
Since then I’ve been using Fructis Ends Plumper along with the Blow Pro anti aging density spray as my HG styling duo. I get 2 full days of volume and clean hair which is unheard of for me, and the price is excellent.

This adds a tiny bit of shine to my hair, and cuts down on tangles/frizz/dryness a bit. I have really thick, damaged hair, and this product is just too light to take care it. With that said, I like using this product–the smell, texture of the serum, and even the bottle is nice–and it’s a good refresher on second day hair. This doesn’t way down my hair, does seem to make it look fuller, and gives some volume.

I have fine hair and I’m always looking for an inexpensive way to give myself some volume. this product did nothing for me, I didn’t notice any fullness. I’m pretty much just using the rest of the product because it does smell really nice throughout the day.

I bought this because my hair is always thin and limp. I hardly ever trust drugstore products, but I feel that this delivered! I used this on damp hair before blowdrying and I must say that my ends DO look thicker. Now I want to try the whole line! The only con is sometimes I feel like it makes my hair too sticky or greasy if I apply too much…so only use just a little.
