I have fine very frizz prone wavy hair. I’m always looking for a product that will not weigh down my waves and provide frizz control. I hate products that I can feel in my hair. This is pretty good. I haven’t tried it alone. I start with a leave in conditioner first no matter what I use. My hair is mid back. I part it into 2 sections and apply a large nickel size amount to each side, making sure to evenly coat/work it into my hair. Then I scrunch my hair to enhance my waves even more. I don’t know why this is called unwind because it really doesn’t weigh down hair or stretch out waves or curls. It’s just a calming product with some light hold. I found this to be 100x better than the air dry waves foam. The foam feels light yet it manages to completely take the wave out of my hair. John Frieda would probably sell more product if they relabeled and renamed their products properly. This one is an air dry enhancing lotion, the foam is an unwind foam not enhancing.

I’m on like my tenth bottle. This stuff rocks! I put it in my wet hair, brush it through, flip my head and shake my hair a bit, toss my hair to the side I want it parted on, then let it air dry. This stuff makes my hair look “done”, but I don’t have to do anything! As it starts drying, the product tends to get a little crispy, but I just twirl my hair around my fingers or kinda scrunch the crispness out; nothing to it. My hair is soft, wavy, and perfect. Love it!

I got a sample of this in the mail along with the shampoo and conditioner.
I cut my long hair off wanting a easy short style.(found out I actually have curls!)I tried a few other products but they all left my hair dry, waxy or crunchy. With this product I get great curls that last all day. I was amazed at how soft my hair was. Smells good too.I dont need to use any other products with it. No more hairspray! I got lucky and found it on sale half price at Superstore. Score! Grabbed a few bottles.
