This isn’t really very effective for me-I just don’t find it does a whole lot. I have tried using it a few different ways. My hair behaves well fall and winter. It starts to act up in the spring, and once summer comes, it’s a mess. Humidity is my enemy. I can blow my hair out and it looks so good, and seriously, by the time I am done putting on my makeup, it looks like crap.(No air conditioning in my house.) I am trying so many different products. I ordered this from Amazon. I think I tried it many years ago, but I couldn’t remember if I liked it or not. It just really doesn’t help. I have tried varying the amount of product I use. But it really isn’t helping to control any frizz or pouf or curling up of my hair. I am carrying the tube in my bag to use later in the day for emergency help, since at least I don’t have to worry about it spilling. I guess it helps better than nothing for that purpose. But other than that, I don’t care for it at all.

I love this stuff. Works the best for my fly aways, and no more frizzy bangs. I’ve had the same bottle for over two years and still have lots. A little really does go a long way with this stuff.

This stuff is HG material for my thick, frizzy, wavy/curly hair. My hair often gets tangled and I have to brush it out ( I use a wet hair detangler brush) and as expected, it looks like crap after brushing it out; dull, frizzy, shapeless. But then I smooth some of this on, and it diminishes frizz and makes my hair look decent/good/moisturized again. I brush my hair out daily because of tangles, and when I blow dry it a bit after washing. AND I use this EVERY time. It’s a finishing cream. It’s a touch up cream. It WORKS.
I might just buy a backup out of fear XD.
It helps with frizz, dullness, shapelessness. Brings a style back to life, smooths the mess. Great product at a great price. Ilove the squeeze tube too, I bring it with me everywhere.

I’ve had the same tube for years and just decided to try it out again today so I could decide whether it was taking up valuable space–I see absolutely no effect from this product. I am VERY conservative about hair products and I used only about a pea-sized amount in my fine, shoulder-length hair to try to de-puff and smooth out some frizz around my face after blow drying because I didn’t feel like straightening. I saw no results so I added another pea and still nothing. Since receiving a sample of the Living Proof Satin Hair Serum, I don’t think I can ever go back. I’m going to trash the rest of this tube.

I picked up this product because I have a lot of hair and its very curly and I thought it would help tame my curls a bit. At first I was in love with it. It smelled good and it made my hair smooth and soft. However, I started realizing that my scalp was getting very itchy and by the second day my hair just looked greasy. It did help with taming my curls, but I’d rather have crazy curls than an itchy, irritated scalp.

I first bought this so long ago; I don’t even know what my motivation was for choosing this. If I had to guess, it would probably be due to its claims of de-puffing hair, which as a teenager is all my thick, long, coarse, naturally curly hair did: poof! This cream’s effects on curly hair are good, but it won’t re-define dry fuzzy curls and it doesn’t add much shine. But it really works best when I’m reviving a blowout or trying to keep the blowout in place on a humid day. In those situations, this cream is a lifesaver. Again, it’s a little lacking in shine, so when I’m reviving a blowout after sleeping on it, I run my flatiron over the kinks, spread one pump of Davines Oi/Oil through my hair for shine, then use a pea-size of this to smooth down any flyaways for puffiness that the flatiron didn’t get. For midday, I’ll do the same thing, minus the flatiron. It really does its job. Although I don’t use it every day, and since a little goes a long way, I don’t repurchase this very often, but when I run out, I’ll be buying this again.

I wear my hair natural 99.9% of the time & my curls love this stuff. I use it after my hair is dry to calm the frizzies & twirl strands that are out of control back in line with their curl. I’ve used it with wet hair too, mix it with Garnier Surf Hair if I’m in humidity – great stuff. My hair is fine & corkscrew curly 3a/b I think. White girl fro depending on how short I cut it 🙂

This has been my go-to drug store hair product for years now. It’s one of those things I always have to have on my shelf and I will continue to repurchase for a couple reasons.
One, the cost is right.
Two, it does a good job calming some frizz but, more so, it leaves my hair feeling super soft.
I let my hair air-dry 90% of the time and this is the last product that goes in before hair spray. I have thick, wavy hair so I use curl creams and hair oil. And then the “secret weapon” is last to smooth everything down and keep my hair feeling soft instead of crunchy/dry.
If I do ever blow dry, I use this right after I’m done drying and it keeps my hair soft instead of that dry “hay” feeling.

This stuff is good at minimizing frizz, not so much flyaways. If I’m about to iron/curl my hair I’ll rub a a fear drops on my palms and and my curls look smoother. Doesn’t too much for flyways at the top of my head though.

This actually makes my hair look and feel drier and does absolutely nothing to add shine or moisture. It doesn’t tame my frizz either. Not recommended.

Ah-mazing!!! I’ve tried a handful of anti-frizz products and this (and the polishing serum from John Frieda) is hands down the best! It doesn’t leave the hair greasy and actually takes away the frizz. And not to forget the smell!! Smells so lovely. A fresh salon smell!
Highly recommend!

i bought one over 10 years ago n loved cuz it was virtually odorless n didnt aggravate my sensitive skin n migranes. plus it got rid of flyaways and frizz without weighing down my thick wavy fine hair. i ordered another tube last week and it stunk of strong/lingering perfume. my face broke out in hives. shit…it was 3am n i had to wash my hair n change my clothes and it still reeked. besides that it made my hair greasy. called the co the next day and was told they changed the fragrance to this scent on all there products in 2008. its bad enuf co’s do this but these idiots didnt bother to change ingredients on the tube. they dont give refunds n i got way pissed off so they reluctantly gave it as long as i filled out a lengthy questionare. IF U USED TO LOVE THE OLD VERSION N DONT LIKE STRONG PARFUM PASS ON THIS.

Did not work for me. Tried it several ways, on different days (different levels of humidity, etc) and just did not do it’s job (at least not for me). My hair, which is pretty much poker-straight naturally, tends to get frizzy in the humidity. I was hoping this would combat that. It did seem to give me volume, though..? But it does not do for me it’s main claim.
It is a white colored cream and has very little scent, which I appreciate. I apply a dab between my palms, rub my palms/hands together, and then ‘smooth’ my hands down my hair. Within half an hour it looks like I used nothing. In fairness, though, I am convinced there just is not truly frizz-proof product. Especially not in humidity. I’ve tried many. This one is just another fail and would not repurchase.

Even though it made my hair a-lot less frizzy, it left my hair looking oily.

This stuff is the BEST! Advance apologies for the cheesy factor, but it really is my “secret weapon”…I always have a tube in my purse, on my bathroom sink, in my car…no joke. I have wavy/hardcore frizzy hair, and as soon as I use this (I use more than most others, about a dime-quarter size, but again, my hair’s super frizzy and I have very long hair) my hair is shiny and not frizzy at all. It’s amazing. I’ve turned all my friends onto this product, you must try it if you have frizz!

I’ve always depended on this product to tame my “fly aways”, and it’s remained my favorite for years. However, be sure just to put a very small dollap in, otherwise it can easily weigh hair down.
