I got this for my 2c/3a medium length hair and after using it a few times, I don’t plan to finish the bottle. The packaging is fine, price was good but I didn’t get any curl definition with this not did it help frizz. I usually apply my curl products when my hair is sopping wet, and then squish and scrunch it in, blot with a microfiber towel and “plop” for a few minutes before either air drying or diffusing on medium/low heat. This mousse is strongly scented with a fragrance I really don’t like, as it clashes with the scents of my leave in product and Davines Oi Oil and made my hair feel dry at the tips and sticky. Maybe this works well for others, but it’s a pass for me.

This mousse is much better than others I’ve tried, meaning it does not leave a crunchy cast on my waves/curls and yet it still manages to hold them in place really well. I love the very skinny nozzle dispenser which makes it possible to use only as much as you want/need. Second day hair is also fantastic. I can brush and go with super full waves or spritz with water and get a tighter curl. You can use this on wet/damp or dry hair and your hair looks and feels completely natural, as if there is no product in it and yet it does revive natural wave/curl pattern while eliminating frizz. I am super impressed with this mousse. I have had a really hard time finding products I like and lately I’ve been on a winning streak with the ones I’ve purchased. I think I will quit while I’m ahead and stick with this and the beach waves styling cream by Marc Anthony.

Fantastic! According to the manufacturer, this is supposed to define and hold curly styles. It does so much more than that. This literally transforms my hair, turning my fine, wavy (2a/b) long frizzy strands to bouncy, soft, perfectly defined curls. By far the best curl reviver I have ever tried. It takes “curl reviver mousse” concept to a whole new level. Unlike many other mousses out there, this does not dry the hair out, it is non-sticky, does not leave any kind of residue (even if you accidentally apply more product than you should). The hair feels and looks conditioned and hydrated, it is soft, manageable and shiny. Highly recommended.

This works well on my curly hair I was looking for something new because perfectly undone foam was discontinued. I’ll buy again

Pretty good! I’m not a mousse connoisseur. I’m used to using the ones from Dollar Tree, I tried Redken I loved it except not the price tag and going to Kroger is much more convenient than ulta (don’t do salons) & DT is a pain they don’t always have my mousse & they don’t have electric wheelchairs not to mention 15-20 mins away. For DS I liked tresemme mousse but i decided I wanted to be adventurous so I got this & JF Dream Curls foam. I like them together! This mousse didn’t make my hair sticky nor greasy. It was nice & less than $5USD. It smelled decent. All in all a good mousse I’ll prob not rebuy as i like my DT mousse as well for $1 I can stock up oh well I got out of my rut!!

Sadly this product didn’t work for my hair, it left it sticky and un-manageable. I prefer to use my Dove whip mousse.

This mousse is pretty average. It’s curly-girl friendly (silicone free), but tends to be sticky and a bit drying. It’s fine if used on top of a moisturising cream.

I’m sad to bring down the rating of this, but this product really didn’t work for me!
It left my hair really sticky and it definitely didn’t tame the frizz. I feel like it only made it worse actually.
I wouldn’t consider my hair as curly, so it might work for those with curly hair.
When I was younger my hair was crazy curly, but as I grew older the curls disappeared a bit and left me with some sort of wavy hair. Still with the frizzy texture of curly hair.
I hoped this would define my waves and tame frizz, but again.. Didn’t work.

Love this product!! This works for wet or dry hair! I use it out of the shower or I will use it before going out to make my curls stay in tact or make them come back after sleeping on them. Great product! I use the Friz Ease detangle spray as well. Great combo! Holds the curl without being sticky or heavy.

This is my favorite mousse. I don’t have curly hair, but it is a bit frizzy from being damaged and dry. I use this mouse when I let my hair air dry and it is much smoother. It is also great for curling your hair! I put this in before curling my hair and then lightly spritz my curls with flexible hair spray and my curls stay in all day and sometimes through the next day. This stuff is amazing with my straight hair and probably even better with naturally curly hair. And it smells AMAZING!!
