I flat iron my hair and love how it looks sleek and chic. However, sometimes I want a messier look – not teased, but maybe a little tousled. I tried this hairspray and it just did not hold. I sprayed and sprayed, but the best I could get was for the ends of my hair to get splayed and tangled. The only style I could see this working for would be to hold bangs or similar.

I hardly used hair products before I recently got my hair cut with layers. My stylist showed me how to “tease” my hair and I’ve been hair product crazy!! I tried to use cheaper alternatives of what she used, but my hair fell flat and looked unnatural. I caved in and bough this spray along with another Redken product that was used. It took me a lot of practice to learn how to tease my hair and sometimes it doesn’t always look the best, but this is the BEST hairspray I’ve used for teasing. By the way, I have naturally straight, thin hair.. but lots of it. This hairspray is fairly expensive. I bought it for $19 at CVS but you can find it at hair salons and stores like Ulta. It’s totally worth every penny though. I didn’t like the smell at first and now I’ve grown to really like it. It’s quick drying instead of being extremely wet. I can’t tease wet hair. It’s so hard to find a HS that isn’t wet when sprayed! That’s the main factor. It has great non-stiff hold as well. And if I do use too much, it’s easy to brush out without ripping all my hair out! Would I repurchase? Absolutely. I’ve also tried Bedhead’s Hard Heard hairspray, but this one is still better IMO.

Best hairspray I’ve ever used. Dries instantly and holds great while remaining brushable. The nozzle sucks though. Wish Redken would fix that : (
