This is one of those products I really really want to love. It is a nice thick cream and it feels soooo good and luxurious!! I have tried both letting my hair air dry and blow dried. Letting my hair air dry with this product left my hair really nicely curled?!?! My hair is naturally wavy but this product really helped shape it. When I blowdried my hair it did feel softer and smoother but not overly dramatic. I feel like I could have gotten the same effect with something cheaper. It’s really weird since this stuff feels so great. My hair is oily on the roots and super dry on the ends so maybe this would work better if my hair was healthier…

I bought this on a whim and never regretted it. It smells quite strong of jasmine, but the smell fades to a pleasant feminine and flowery slcent. I have thick wavy shoulder length hair and use it sparingly (tiny pea amount, worked between my hairs till it emulsifies). Half way through my blow dry (I may have used argan oiI sparingly as well when hair was wet), I flip my head foward and star applying at the back, saving for the top layers and front only the last bits of cream. I run my fingers to work it down the lengths and proceed with blowdry. Perfect, polished hair – very expensive looking hair, groomed and elegant.
I do think most people use too much product – I have seen friends use mounds of this..yuck.
If my hair has dried naturally and there is some frizz, I may use a tiny amount in the same manner on dry hair.

This is a complete waste of money and time.
This has absolutely no benefit… Hair looks lifeless, slightly dirty, cannot think of a single advantage… Tried it multiple times with different shampoos both with blow drying and without drying. It should help with curls if not blow dried but end up less curly… I think actually my hair looks way better without applying this at all.
I think I’ll throw away the remaining bit, something I almost never do….
edit jan/16: I decided to give it a try as a mask during the shower, i.e. washing it off. it is not too bad. does nothing for freeze, no particular volume, no shine, but it does soften the hair and good enough for detangling and hair does not look greasy this way. I will probably finish it off in this manner.

I am just trying this out. I have waist-length, super thick, wavy hair that tends to fuzz when humid or wet out. It smells nice, and seems to control my hair so far. So far so good! I just am not crazy about the un-hygenic jar that you need to scoop the product from.

I love the packaging, so adorable. Very easy to recognize in my drawer, so cute! The product is like a luxury hair butter, lol. Smells nice, makes your hair look and feel healthy. It is very thick but doesn`t weigh your hair down. 🙂 I have a messy wavy hair, and I like to put this cream in my hair, clip it up with a big hair clip, and when it dries, voila, I have nice curly hair. 🙂 I have been using it for a LONG time now, and still have a ton of product left. Therefore I don’t think it is an expensive product. Fekkai is good! 🙂

I’ve almost used a whole pot, so I can safely say this makes a real difference in styling my hair. I have short, thick, very coarse, very dry, frizzy hair. I use this before I blowdry and it really makes my hair smooth and soft. I still use a flatiron after, but almost don’t need to. Will definitly buy it again!

I adore this product! I have long hair that is very thick and coarse, but can quickly get oily at the roots. I’ve tried plenty of anti-frizz and smoothing hair products but none of them have worked as well as this one. It smells great, comes in a cool container, and works well if you put it in your hair while wet or dry. And while it’s expensive, the pot does last a long time- I’ve had mine for a month and you can hardly tell I’ve used any.
EDIT: this stuff does last a really long time, but after a while it starts to smell terrible. A sort of fishy, garbage-y smell, almost like I put it in my hair and then straightened it for too long (except I didn’t). Now I have half a pot of hair creme I can’t even use; total waste of money.

I first received this product as a sample, and ending up really liking it. I purchsed the full size which is a little pricey but for the amount you get and how long it lasts its worth it. I put it in my hair before I blow dry it and it leaves my hair shiny and frizz free. And it smells really good too!!

I love this product! I have very curly that I color to cover the gray. My hair is medium to coarse. This makes my curly hair look so good and soft. Does not weigh it down. I think it would if you had finer hair. It does have a strong scent but not overwhelming. I will diff. buy again. I am using the conditioner also!

I’m kind of surprised I’m the first one to review this product, although I guess it is relatively new. I started using the Essential Shea shampoo and conditioner and loved them, so decided to try this. I don’t necessarily use this for any specific styling purpose, except to make my hair look and feel healthy. I have fine, long hair that is prone to split ends, and putting this is towel-dried hair makes my hair feel thicker, stronger, and much more healthy, without that potential greasy look that the Glossing Cream can give. It doesn’t weigh my hair down and it makes it extremely soft and manageable. I can’t say if this really helps hold a style if you’re straightening/curling etc because I rarely do much to style my hair. This has a pleasant scent that lasts for at least a day after you use it, but it isn’t overwhelming by any means. My only negative is that it makes my hair take forever to air dry when I use this, but most products have that same effect. Overall I really like this – it is one of the only products that I use regularly. It is expensive at $35, but you only need a tiny amount so I think the pot will last a long time.
