Terrible product. What little bit of product managed to hit my head – most of it ended up on the floor – held no curl, but made my hair feel dry and dirty.

First of all, let me say I’m no stranger to hairspray. This is by far the worst hair spray I’ve ever used. It seems as if nothing is coming out of the can, just air and an oily product with extremely noxious chemicals. The “micro” mist is so light that it easily went into my airways. I was coughing and had a scratchy throat most of the day until I washed it out of my hair. This can’t be healthy! I can’t imagine what it would do to a person with a breathing condition. I threw this out after one use…. I would definitely not recommend this.
I gave it a “1” for good value (wish I could give the product a zero!), because even though it’s not expensive I feel it’s an extremely unhealthy product. I’ll go back to my tried and true Paul Mitchell non-aerosol.

It’s important that I write this. In doing my hair/makeup today I took out my lighted makeup mirror. Instantly I noticed the mirror was very badly coated in a film. I clean the mirror on a regular basis (not everyday) but I had never seen anything like this. I can only think it was a heavy film from the Micro Mist spray. It took several good cleanings with Windex until the mirror was clear. I’m also cleaning everything in the room where I used it.
When I used it yesterday I didn’t spray the mirror, I sprayed my hair! If it did this to the mirror what is it doing to the bronchial tubes, lungs? What kind of quality control did they use?
I’m writing the Tresemme company about the situation. I have no grudge against Tresemme, but they should know about it. Please, people, don’t use this!

I ‘ve been on the hunt for a flexible hold hair spray that doesn’t smell too obnoxious and more importantly won’t give me hives. I like the humidity proof Tresemme with the purple label but the smell can be overwhelming for me and if I use too much it can weigh my hair down. I saw this advertised and picked it up at CVS for under $10. So far this has been the best hair spray I’ve ever used I usually blow out my medium fine curly hair and use minimal products or it looks flat and weighed down. Maybe shine serum and if needed a little texture spray. After trying a new cut that looked great when I left the salon I was getting frustrated that I couldnt maintain the style at home. No matter what I did my ends and bangs would look crazy and the top flat by the afternoon. Hair spray helped but the good ones give me hives. This dries almost instantly so it won’t frizz the hair I just blow dried smooth. It’s great for piecing out layers and giving hair texture and light hold without layering too many products in and weighing it down. It doesn’t make my hair crunchy or stiff either. If you have fine hair and are looking for a natural hold for a polished look this is a budget friendly drug store gem. I hope it doesn’t get discontinued I’ll be so pissed.
