I love to apply this product to the parched ends of my long fine curly hair. It smooths my rough ends very well making my hair appear healthier. This is my second bottle.

Alas this one was a very big disappointment from Aveda. I saw absolutely no change in my hair after using this. There was no added shine, manageability or softness and as my hair is dry with some damage it is the in the target market for this product and the whole Brilliant line from Aveda, It’s also very expensive costing about $40. It’s horribly disappointing and I’m ready to give up on Aveda entirely.

Does nothing. Absolutely nothing. Terribly overpriced and a huge disappointment. I do not get any shine or any softness from this.

I wasn’t too impressed by this stuff. Honestly, the price is way too much for the quality. I believe I paid $30 total at a day spa for this. It has a lot of silicones and after awhile I began to tire of the perfume smell. It has rice bran oil so perhaps that is the smell I couldn’t stand. I’m going to donate it to Goodwill, maybe someone else would like it. I wouldn’t recommend you waste money on it, you can find drugstore serums that are just as good for less.

I THINK this is pretty similar to what I have, but I couldn’t find an exact listing. Mine is more of a serum with a pump but otherwise looks and sounds almost like the same thing.
Regardless, it’s one of my HG hair products. You really can’t use much or you’ll look greasy. I only use it on the ends after flat ironing and it makes my hair look shiny and fantastic.

This product works great! I dont use it everyday, and my one bottle has lasted me a few years. I put it in my hair when its wet and then blow dry it, and it still works good. I only use half a pump as too much can make your hair look slightly greasy. Just use sparingly and it will be totally worth it!

Great shine but doesn’t control any frizz. Don’t put too much on or it will weigh hair down and make it look fake shiny (even my thick wavy hair). Very expensive so because I don’t notice a huge difference in quality of this product over a john frieda frizz ease I won’t be buying it again.

I received this stuff from a friend who LOVES Aveda everything, thank goodness cause it is ridiculously expensive. I use it after I have styles my hair, usually 2 to 3 sprays all over. It does a nice job of giving my hair a shiny apperance with a just stepped out of an Aveda salon & spa smell. I have used way less expensive shining serums that deliver the same finish (minus that distinctive smell).

After reading several reviews on this, I had to try it. Tames frizzies? Smoothes hair? Shine? Smells amazing? Yes, yes, yes, yes! This is one of the BEST serums/glosses that I have used. Everytime I use it I have to stick my hair up to my nose and smell the fabulous Aveda scent. A little goes a long way, so I convinced myself that it is worth the price. Re-purchase for sure!

This is one of the few products I have used and been loyal to for years. The smell is what drew me in, the product performance keeps me coming back. The smell is a wonderful, unique Aveda scent. The gloss works if I am wearing my hair blown out – reducing ‘puffy’ hair and smoothing flyaways. If I’m going curly, it helps keep the curl defined. In both cases, it helps with resisting humidity and the shine is incredible! Too much can make straight hair appear greasy, but for my corkscrew curls, it’s tough to use too much. Two pumps is generally what I work with. $24.50 for 2.5 oz and it lasts a long time.
