Sticky, messy, stinky. It made my hair feel crunchy, tacky, and dry. I threw out a nearly full bottle because I just didn’t see the point of keeping such a disappointing product. What a waste.

I thought I might try some drugstore products to save a few bucks. I’ve been using salon products like Joico, Paul Mitchell, etc., for years and have gotten used to how well they work. This Loreal mousse did almost nothing for my hair. No hold whatsoever and no volume. It smells good, but it’s a bit overpowering for me. Bonus for not flaking in my dark hair, but otherwise pretty much worthless. I guess I’ll have to go back to splurging if I want my hair to look decent.

First off, the packaging looks fantastic, but the distribution cap thingy on mine was perhaps broken because it was hard to press down and dispense the product. Secondly, the name promises some dramatic volume, but it didn’t deliver. Tresemme and Regis’s Designline mousse gave me more volume. And lastly, it tended to be on the sticky side if I tried to get some volume out of it.
It gets two lippies because it smelled pretty good (a typical, but light shampoo smell) and it’s better than herbal essence’s mousse.
