Love this; I use it before drying and it does shorten drying time and helps derange and smooth my very fine hair without being too heavy. And the low price makes this a staple for me

Used to use the Sleek It Iron Spray from this brand and even though that one said it could be used with all heat tools it made my hair sticky thus causing blow drying to take a long time. This one has the same exact scent as the other one but truly makes my blow drying go by so quick. for reference I have really short, bleached hair that I wash at night & then re-style in the morning using water from a spray bottle, a heat protectant & a blow dryer. this heat protectant also makes my hair so shiny and less frizzy which is a must when you have bleached hair of any length.

Love it.
I have long, fine, dry hair, but a lot of it — and it takes forever to dry, whether I use the blow dryer or air dry. This product does exactly what it says: a few spritzes of this and my drying time is slashed dramatically.
It doesn’t do much else: I can’t speak to the heat protection factor since I don’t use heated tools often enough to really judge that aspect. It doesn’t do much in terms of conditioning, texture, etc., but it also doesn’t claim to. It’s light enough that it doesn’t seem to interfere with any other styling products I use with it.
It’s a simpler product, easy to use, at a dirt cheap price (currently under $4 at a major online retailer).

Man, my review is totally opposite of the one below. I really only purchased because it was a good deal on sale. I also have long thick hair and really noticed nothing. I would put it in my damp hair and blow dry completely and I didn’t really have smooth hair, kinda frizzy. It’s way too oily when your hair is dry, so that’s a complete no go for the heat protection aspect. So for me this was a heat protectant I could really only use on damp hair. Won’t be buying again.

This went to HG status in one use. I’m so obsessed, I will tell anyone that will listen. I have THICK hair and lots of it; even my hairdressers make a comment about how thick my hair is every time I get a hair cut. And I’ve been paying for it because everything takes twice as long with this mane. Especially drying my hair, I literally have to schedule time out of my day to do it, because it takes 30-50 minutes.
Anyway I saw this product and I was like a primer for your hair? Sounds a little gimmicky. But I saw that it claimed to shorten hair drying time and it’s a heat protector, which I needed a new one, so I took the leap. Especially since 1) L’oreal has been uppin’ their hair product game in the last few years and 2) it’s $5!! So as usual, I clipped up part of my hair and began to blow dry the lower sections of my hair after spritzing a bit of this spray. the bottom half of my hair was done in about 7 minutes. I was SHOCKED. I knew it would shorten the time but I didn’t think it would be by that much, that’s outrageous.
I didn’t even finish the upper half of my hair before I ran into the living room yelling “feel my hair!” and my boyfriend was like “wow that’s really soft.” Because I recently went from red to blonde and my hair is incredibly dry. I actually have been avoiding blowdrying my hair since its so dry and frizzy when I do it lately. But this made my hair soft, tangle free, smooth, and dry in more than half the time!
Also it’s got a dry-oil type of feel to it, since it’s acts as an oil but doesn’t weigh my hair down like one. Anyway, this might be the best hair product I’ve ever purchased or at least top 3. (and I also purchased the sleek it iron straight hair protector from l’oreal and loved it FYI)

Yes, the reviews are true: this DOES significantly reduce blow dry time ~ probably almost by 50%. That being said, my hair started getting the oilies in half the time it normally does, meaning I would have to shampoo twice as often if I used this regularly. In my opinion, the whole point of this product is to save time which, it does do on the day of your shampoo, but not as it pertains to having to wash more frequently.

I picked this one up this past weekend while on vacation. The shore really does wreck havoc on my crazy, thick, frizzy locks. I can think of far better things to do on my vacation than spending an hour in the bathroom with my blow dryer. Rite Aid had a sale on L’Oreal products and the promise of blow dry time being cut in half was far too tempting. Unlike so many other product claims, this one is actually true – blow dry time was considerably less than I’m used to. Pretty amazing. Unfortunately, styling results didn’t last more than one day. So, if you are hoping to get a few days of wear out of your do you will be disappointed. But, if you are in a rush, this product will certainly do the job in record time. A thumbs up from me!

In the winter it can take me and my T3 upwards of 25 minutes to dry my long, wavy hair if it’s sopping, but in the spring and summer (especially when I let it partially air dry first) that time drops in half. I would like to try this spray again come the return of winter and see what kind of cutting down on dry time impact this really has. During the milder temperatures, I would estimate it reduces my dry time by about 15-20% (v. not using it).
As far as heat protection, I’m happy to have it, though I can’t really see or measure that. I usually use Tresemme’s heat protectant but this seems to be a lateral replacement. The scent is really appealing – candy sweet, practically, but not sickly sugary or cloying. This spray does not weigh my hair down or make it feel greasy. It “disappears” into hair after drying it.
I wish the nozzle was better and the bottle was bigger. It’s inexpensive, yes, at about $3, but the spray radius of the nozzle is really small, so it’s difficult to feel like I’m adequately coating all of my hair without using like 20 pumps. This little bottle will go fast at that rate.
I would rate it a 3.5 if I could.

I feel pretty sure a lot of ladies will be put off by the scent of this, but I absolutely love it! The product does cut my drying time substantially and makes my highlighted hair soft and silky. I went to the store to seek out any other products in this line that smells the same and I bought the sleek balm because it did. Turns out, it’s a great product, too. Inexpensive and works, but smell it before buying it. The scent lingers in my hair.

This product actually does what it claims! I have very thick, heavy hair so it’s tiresome to blow dry. This really does help speed up the drying process. I typically spray it throughout my hair before brushing it and either let it air dry or blow dry it. The product itself feels as if it would make your hair oily but it doesn’t at all. The oil dries completely and though the product doesn’t claim this I do feel like it (slightly) controls my frizz. Overall, this product does what it claims for such a small price tag.
