This serum was prescribed for me during the winter months of Ireland because I would often get wind-burnt cheeks that would be dry and red- ugly! The serum aims to hydrate and sooth the skin and it did just that. I did not have ruddy cheeks last winter!
The serum is a runny consistency that spreads easily, sinks in but seems to ‘seal’ the skin- its very hard to explain how it feels. Its kind of like the protection you get when you re-spray your gortex items…….
The 30ml size is huge and I have over half left, so I recommend the smaller size if this is only for seasonal use.
I used this in conjunction with the BR Creme Verte Espoir. This serum needs the concurrent use of an excellent hydrating moisturiser to further seal the hydration in, as a ‘raincoat’. I guess the serum is like the ‘undercoat’ .
I would certainly not read the ingredients too closely…….suffice to say it is not for vegans nor vegetarians!!!
