I’m afraid I have to join into the positive reviews for this one.
And I don’t do it lightly, as the price for this oil is totally bonkers, no question.
The price is also the reason it took me two years to try it because I had actually ruled it out – due to the price.
I had a generous sample of this which lasted me two weeks. And I have no idea how exactly this oil works as it has just a few ingredients, but it really turned my skin around in the best of ways.
I’m 40, have very fair and rather dry skin and with getting older my skin sometimes just looks a bit dull, especially when I don’t sleep enough or am stressed out.
I tried this oil together with the toner, and apart from it being super comfortable when you use it (it spreads wonderfully onto the skin, very easily, and you just need 2-3 drops for the whole face) it sinks in without the face looking oily and yet the skin is supersoft and moisturised. Little lines are immediately smoothed out, even around the eye area which is my main problem zone. Using this at night I wake up with a healthy glow, no dullness and the skin remains very soft and clean looking.
It also is fine to use it for daytime under makeup and nothing gets oily or doesn’t agree with my makeup products.
The scent of the oil is very soft, nothing strong, a bit citrusy, and otherwise you just smell the oils which are in it.
An add on is the very luxurious and heavy glassy packaging.
So, after using it for two weeks I really did it and bought the original size (ok, at least as a bargain, with a voucher, but the price is still crazy)
If you are into organic face oils and want a really high end luxurious experience with (for me) great results, give it a try!

I really wish there was a ‘maybe’ category for the repurchase question! For the record I am 97% sure I will repurchase but indicated no because of that pesky 3% of uncertainty. On to the review!
I purchased this as sort of the climax of my recent plunge into KJ products. I would NEVER have seen myself EVER spending this much money on a face oil, never mind one that really seems to be comprised of nice carrier oils with one potential active ingredient that I have never heard of before. But I was *so* impressed with the other products I got from KJ, I decided to splurge. Good Lord – this is a magnificent oil. I’ve used it for a couple of weeks now, primarily in the mornings under my sunscreen and KJ foundation, and sometimes use it at night too. I feel like my skin has a smoother, softer look, with less redness and a more consistent tone overall. It’s very lightly scented, medium consistency, feels amazing going on and absorbs really really well. In the morning I put on my C serum first, let that sink in, put on the oil, let that sink in, then sunscreen. So yes I spend about 15 minutes layering, lol. Then I apply the KJ foundation and so find that there is a distinct synergy between the 2 products. I don’t know about the ‘lit from within’ effect it touts, but my skin does look pampered, healthy, and smooth. To say nothing of the packaging! It’s so heavy and sexy and luxe.I feel like if nothing else goes right with my day, if I can always start off with coffee/KJ skincare and makeup, I’ll at least have this pampering ritual first, so I can handle whatever else comes.

This facial oil is divine. It is used as a primer for Kjaer Weis foundation and can also be used as your nightly moisturizer. It has a very light natural fragrance. I had it under my make up all day and when I took of my make up my face was glowing! You just need a few drops and it absorbs right in without feeling greasy and it gives a nice dewy finish – with or without the foundation! I also add some drops to the back of my hands because they get very dry in the winter. If you find a retailer, you might be able to get a sample.
