Great concept, blurring lines…yet all I’ve tried create a problem when you apply makeup on top of them…and who doesn’t use make up/foundation? Anyway, just a word to the wise that perhaps ALL brands of these “blurring” products are not helpful when used under/with foundation. How ironic? lol. Also, though, I bought another “blurring” eye serum product that was over $50 (!!!) and I think it was the same product as the Garnier…Buyer beware…

I’ve tried similar products but found they left a white film on my face also leaving my skin very dry. With Garnier 5 sec blur I never got the dry skin or white residue and it smoothed on beautifully. I’m 49 yrs old and don’t wear any cover up and with this product I don’t need to worry about blemishes or dark or aging spots. My skin looks and feels beautiful again and I look ten yrs younger. I’ve got friends asking wat kind of cover up I’m using. I love the comments I get wen I tell them I don’t use cover up. This product is by far the best of its kind.

I don’t use this on my face but as an eyeprimer. I’ve tried TF shadow insurance, UD primer potion etc…and much prefer this Garnier product. My eyeshadows stay on all day with no fading or creasing, and the primer makes them really easy to blend out on my lids. Only need a tiny amount and you get so much product in the tube, you get much more for your money’s worth than you get with the tiny other eye primers!

I purchased this because I was looking for something to blur the fine lines on my outer eye area and on my forehead. I apply this after my moisturizer before foundation. It’s kind of squirty when it comes out of the tube, so you really have to shake it down to the opening part. It smoothes over my skin nicely, and creates a smoothe surface. I even like to rub it into area where I have blemishes to fill in any creases. It not a magical product. My lines are still there but they are softened. I’m not sure it blurs better than any other primer. I won’t purchase it again because I’d like to try others. But this tube will last me forever.

I’m writing this review after trying this product in three different ways. First I tried it on my bare skin, just on top of my daily cream. It looked decent, it smoothened my skin and looked like I have natural glow. Although I liked the way it looked, I didn’t like the way it felt when I touched it, like I had wax on my face. Then I tried it with mineral powder and first 15 minutes I was amazed how it looked on. The skin looked healthier, had a glow and looked semi-matte. After an hour… A thick layer of oilyness. Discusting. When I touched my face I thought I touched jelly. But I gave it another try and wore it with liquid foundation. After three hours my skin looked worse than ever – a layer of oilyness, on some areas it completely wore off my foundation and on some areas my foundation looked like it was in dots. Not to mention it broke me out horribly. The product is not expensive, but I think it’s not worth a penny. Totally dissapointed.

My skin isn’t smooth so even with a primer my foundation application isn’t perfect. I’ve been using this for awhile and it makes my foundation apply so much easier. I forgot to use it one day and I truly saw a HUGE difference. This does wonders for my skin.

This product is great for over bare skin, made mine look pretty flawless and went on smoothly.
I tried putting mineral powder foundation over the top and it looked great first off had and no issues with application, about 30 minutes later my skin felt heavy and oily and it felt as though all the products were just sitting on my skin and nothing had sunk in, therefore in over an hour everything had moved around and worn off in places.
I’ve used it a few times (with liquid foundation too) and still the same result.
Over bare skin it’s ok, with make up – not so good.

Tried a sample of this but had enough to use three times. With bare skin it has a nice texture – less waxy than L’oreal Studio Secret and made my skin look smoother but did little for my redness. It was ok but not great until I put makeup over it and then it was a disaster. Tried a liquid foundation and it broke up and went ‘dotty’ on the skin. Second time with a creamy foundation and once more it went patchy straightaway. Best result was with mineral powder but still nowhere near a perfect finish. So if you just want your bare skin to look a little better it’s fine but the fact that you can’t wear most foundations over it is ridiculous. Big fail for me.

This does seem to blur the imperfections better than the L’oreal blur product, but I still don’t see that much of a difference: I suspect if you can wear powder (I can’t) it might work better as a blur efffect than this, but this does seem to smooth things out a tiny bit. The texture at first is like clay, but it smoothes onto the skin fairly readily, without beading up, and it wears effortlessly. It didn’t cause me breakouts (have worn it three times so far). It just doesn’t do all that much to blur the lines, tonal imperfections, pores. Not sure it’s worth the money but it might work better on others.

I only tried a sample of this so take this review in that context. I liked the way it felt when it went on but after a day of wearing it almost felt like it had dissolved my foundation (EL Double Wear) and I felt greasy. I haven’t had this problem with my foundation before so I am assuming it was this. It did put a nice finish on my face though and did make my pores appear smaller but I just didn’t like the way my face felt later in the day.
