My absolute favourite serum! A minus due to the price.

I use this serum before moisturizer and it leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. My skin is super sensitive after using a Philosophy retinol product more than a year ago. Everything in my usual routine caused a reaction so a complete overhaul of my regimen was necessary. I discovered this serum at Ulta and decided to give it a try. It causes no reaction and actually calms my skin down while also providing some needed hydration. It’s very light and soothing and cools down any residual redness. I’ve now finished my first bottle and am starting on my second. I use it after washing my face with Olay Foaming Face Wash for sensitive skin. I then use this serum (two pumps for face and throat) followed by La Roche Posay Toleraine Facial Fluid and the Toleraine Ultra cream around my eyes. This routine keeps my skin calm and I haven’t had any breakouts in months. I’m actually afraid to deviate from this routine because all the other products I’ve tried have cause either a red rash or swelling around my eyes. I’m hoping my skin will return to normal eventually and that I’ll be able to use the products I was using before all this happened. However, using this serum and these Toleraine products have given me a routine that works. If your skin is super sensitive and if you have some redness, this serum is a great antidote. It feels very light and cooling and is immediately absorbed. My skin feels protected and pampered. Yes, this serum is expensive. However, it’s been totally worth it and I can’t imagine not using it as the first step in my new skin care regimen. It would also work well if you have sunburn. It’s supposed to eliminate redness, which it definitely does. It’s very soothing and feels wonderful going on. I can’t recommend it highly enough. It’s a great first step in any sensitive skin care routine.

The Murad Kit for Sensitive Skin is certainly a reputable product, and one of our favorite skin care brands on the market. While it contains beneficial ingredients like Palmarosa oil, peppermint leaf extract and bisabolol, the Murad Kit crowded its formulation with more unusual ingredients whose benefits are less understood as opposed to more tried-and-true ingredients. The Reclarx Dry Skin Kit conversely relies on both traditional ingredients like urea and salicylic acid, while including exciting yet well-studied ingredients like glucolactone and jojoba oil so that your skin can become both hydrated and flawless, all in one step.

I recently just bought it (cost me a whooping $122) but the sales girl was kind enough to throw in the cleanser in the same range for me.. anyway.. she said I can see the results in about a month so waiting for that BUT I had very very dry skin a few days ago due to air conditioning and not drinking enough water, and this serum made me look hydrated and healthy..didn’t cause me any breakouts too.. will finish the bottle and shall update..

I haven’t used this for such a long time, but until now I’m pretty satifised.
It’s also fantastic to use after threading + the blemish toner- those two helps against whiteheads I get otherwise after threading.
I’ll come back with an update 🙂

I don’t know why I don’t use this all the time but I should! Whenever I end up having an issue be it a flare up from rosacea, redness/flaky/dry patches, I apply this serum to calm things down. Without fail, this product takes care of the skin problems and gets me back on track. My husband uses it to calm irritation on his neck from shaving. I recommend this for all skin types.

I am using this in conjunction with the Redness Relief moisturizer and have noticed my skin feels more hydrated and calm. The dry itchy patches of skin have lessened and I’m happy with the results after one month.

I’m trying to understand why this product would be for sensitive skin when it burns my face when I put it on. And I don’t have very sensitive skin, it’s just a little red, probably from the Differin I use. However, despite the fact that it stings a little, it does reduce the redness of my face immediately, so I will continue to use it.
The packaging is quite acceptable, with a small pump that works well, and the product is slightly runny, which makes sense since it’s a serum.

My skin has become super sensitive since using a retinol product more than a year ago. I get angry red blotches and swelling under my eyes whenever I use my regular skincare products. So I had to find new products that would not cause this horrible reaction. At Ulta, I scanned the shelves searching for something that would soothe my irritated face. I discovered this Murad serum and thought it was worth a try. It goes on like a gel and dries pretty quickly and hydrates and soothes my skin nicely. Everything else I’ve tried has cause a reaction of some sort. I also discovered La Roche Posay Toleraine Daily Moisturizer and the Moisturizing Cream (which I use around my eyes). These three products cause no angry outbreaks and my skin remains wonderfully clear. They work really well together. Murad may make a sensitive skin moisturizer however my Ulta doesn’t carry it. But LRP Toleraine has worked really well with this Murad serum and I feel my skin is getting the nutrients and calming ingredients it needs. I’m hoping that after a while, my skin will go back to its nonreactive state and not stay so intensely sensitive. I’ve seen a dermatologist six times and have had a patch test for allergies (on my back not on my face) which didn’t tell me much at all. Prior to the retinol, my skin wasn’t sensitive at all and maybe over time, it will go back to it’s prior state. But for right now, this Murad serum and the Toleraine products are working well for me and I recommend them for anyone with super sensitized skin.

I was recommended this product when I was at Sephora as apparently my skin is extremely sensitive and dehydrated. I was a bit surprised as I thought it was oily and acne prone? I was given a little facial there with some of the products (this one included) and my skin felt more hydrated. I bought this to see if my skin was going to turn around from the red/reactive oily nature it was used to and clear up. Surprisingly after a few weeks my skin looks a lot better with virtually no redness and oiliness. Heads up to anyone who uses this and notices burning/stinging: be careful with exfoliation and using this product because it will burn! I limit my exfoliation to once/twice a week and try to not use it afterward.

Another great winner! I use a few of the acne care products from Murad and received this as a sample. I am absolutely in love with it and am considering ordering the full size. I have fair skin that gets a bit red around my mouth and nose area especially if I use products that are too strong. I have been using this around my jawline where I had some acne flare ups and around my mouth/nose. I noticed a huge difference the first time I used it. It is unscented ( big bonus!) and absorbs very quickly into the skin without any itching, stinging or burning. I highly recommed this to anyone who has acne prone sensitive skin or dry sensitive skin. Murad’s products are a little pricey but I don’t mind paying the $$ when I know the product WILL work.

I’ve been using the sensitive skin serum for almost a year. I had what I thought were acne scars but nothing I used for them worked, so I tried this. The spots went away. My blotchy skin tone evened out. A little pricey but worth it to be able to look at myself in the mirror. I actually have been able to leave my house without makeup on for the first time in my adult life.
