Initial thoughts: Surprised at how light the texture of this cream is, for a long time the only reason I’ve avoided it is because I assumed it was aimed at more mature skin types. According to the SA this is targeted towards the first signs of ageing and geared towards normal to combination skin types (but also can be used on oily-dehydrated i.e me). The sample size lasted me for approximately 2 weeks, which isn’t long enough to determine anti-aging effects, but still enough to see whether a product would agree with you, which in my case it did. No breakouts, no oiliness, just nicely hydrated skin. BUT it also didn’t help with pores as promised or improve the texture – which a product should start to within less than 1 week.
Did give a slight glow but then again so can any number of moisturizers in a fraction of RNA’s hefty price tag. Also wasn’t too impressed with the ingredients list – so many chemicals I felt like a lab technician trying to decipher them all, plus parabens to boot. For me the ingredients are always the deal breaker. I wouldn’t purchase this in the full size and will stick to their Derm Revival Brightening mask which is also quite costly – but gives much better and more noticeable results.

This cream retails for almost $300 in Canada. For that price, I expect a LOT and while this is a lovely cream, it’s not THAT lovely. I received a Sephora Points Perk sample (given the price, the jar probably holds about $50 worth of product!) and I enjoy using it but it is just a moisturizer – a nice, rich one that isn’t greasy and smells very nice. I looked at the ingredients list and it didn’t seem to justify the price – the main ingredients seem to be water (big surprise), shea butter and niacinimide (along with some “cones”, for those who avoid them like poison). If this were $80 for the jar, or maybe even $100, I’d purchase it but for the price, it just doesn’t deliver a whole lot more than Embryolisse or the original, German made Nivea do.

This cream is PHENOMENAL! yes it’s pricey but for what it has done for my skin I’ve repurchased it again and again! This gives me the ultimate softness, smoothness, luminosity, clear skin ever!!! I thought Amore Pacific’s Anti Aging Cream was wonderful (and it is) but this is by far much much superior! I am a complete fan. SKII please do not reformulate or discontinue this. I cannot live without this cream period!

I use this cream in the winter when my skin gets dry. I use it over the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence. It is an outstanding moisturiser. It’s not greasy and it keeps my face moisturised for hours. It is, however, way overpriced. The packaging is dumb: a large heavy pot, terrible for travel and not too hygienic either. However, it is hard for me to find a moisturiser that works as well as this one, at least for the 2 months in winter when my skin is driest. Once winter is over, I stop wearing SK-II. It’s just too pricey.

This is my Holy grail night cream , it leaves my skin so hydrated and the next morning my face feels more plump soft and bright ! I prefer this one than the stem power cream since this one is thicker .
I use in combination with the skII treatment oil and it helps my super dry skin to get rid of the desquamations around my nose .
I know the price is ridiculous but the jar lasts a really long time !

I had good results with the essence which leaves me with calm looking skin the next morning , hence I am disappointed that this product does nothing to my skin . It does not brighten or calm down my skin .

It is quite useful for firming. It also brightens up my skin. I use it in daytime and at night. I apply it on face and neck. One thing I do not quite like is that the consistency is thick. It is hard to put makeup on after applying this.

I’m in the search of the fountain of youth and here’s my thoughts.
This is one of the most powerful anti aging cream (non retinol product) in my opinion. I feel my skin become softer and well hydrated. I believe it makes my skin more resilient too. Though I’m 23 years old, I want to make sure that I put the best products on my skin.
I can’t compare this with the previous line (stempower / essential cream) because I haven’t got a chance to try it. But both of them claim that they concern about enlarged pores and wrinkles.
I have combination skin, so I prefer a matte finish but this won’t do it for me. I prefer to use at night time only as my final step of my layering routine. And I put it around my nose, mouth, chin, temple and forehead in order to soften the appearance of enlarged pores and natural fine lines from smiling.
Here’s my steps: the body shop tea tree facial wash > essence (any essence that I have at the moment. It can be sk ii, missha, innisfree, or secretkey) > sk ii repair C > sk ii facial lift emulsion > sk ii rna cream.
I highly recommended this product for those who look for a strong anti aging cream. It’s not budget friendly tho. But if you have a chance, you may love to try this out.

Review of SK-II R.N.A. Power Radical New Age Essence and Cream!
*I forgot to mention in the review video that these two products are general anti-aging products. They do not seem to treat specific ageing issues such as already existing wrinkles but they do help to prevent fine line/wrinkles and help to achieve overall youthful and more resilient skin.
* My review is based on using these two products morning and night for 4 weeks, and then using them in combination with other products (mainly Trilogy Roseship Oil and SK-II LXP Ultimate Perfecting Serum for about 4 weeks and also with SK-II Facial Treatment Oil for 1 week) and using them as my main morning skin care for 2 months. I’ve been using these products for total for 4 months. I bought the smallest sized essence and cream at first and then repurchased another essence and a bigger cream after the first 2 months.
