I have noticed a reduction of breakouts since using Pore Effect because it does contain salicylic acid. I have to be very selective on where I apply it- mainly on my nose and chin. I immediately notice a tightening-like sensation and do feel like the ingredients are working to tighten pores. I am still on my first jar and a little goes a long way.

I like this product very much! I first picked up a tube of the primer and when applied it did make my pores “look” smaller….This product does nothing to permanently make them smaller! I have horribly oily skin, hormonal breakouts, and resident blackheads in my nose and chin. I purchased this cream, the cleanser and the blackhead vaccuum cleaner. I use the cream and cleanser every night and the blackhead cleaner every other day. I also apply lemon juice after cleansing, but before moisturizing. My skin is no longer a shiny oil slick, it hardly ever gets oily now. My blackheads have decreased SIGNIFICANTLY and my skin is softer and more balanced. Now wheb I have nothing on my face my pores are the same size they have always been so dont expect a miracle pore eliminating cream, it just makes them appear smaller. But for oil control and a smoother complexion the pores no more line is the BEST, for me anyway.

I am using this product in my t-zone only.( i am very acne prone, sensitive with large pores and blackheads in my t-zone). This has not irritated me and It does make my pores look smaller and especially looks amazing under my foundation.
My cheeks are dry so I apply a different moisturizer there.
Packaging is awful its a jar and should be a pump dispenser.
Not sure if Ill repurchase, but will continue to use this now and update later………
UPDATE: I find this pore clogging and cannot use every day, its very heavy and creamy and fills in your pores which is why they look smaller but in the end I feel it is breaking me out. I will not repurchase and finish what I have as a primer in my t-zone and only for special occasions. This should be marketed as a PRIMER/PORE FILLER in my opinion.

I had this for a while, tried it when I bought the pore-fection kit and didn’t like it. It made my skin oily after a few hours and I didn’t see any changes after using it for a few days. So I put it back in the draw.
I decided to give it a try again since my neck started to reacting badly towards my retinal night cream. I used it as a night cream for 2 nights, this time I do see changes. My pores are slightly smaller even though I only slept for 5 hours. I guess the difference is that I didn’t put anything else on top of it, so I do see changes this time. I don’t get an oil slick face when I get up in the morning. I like that it doesn’t give me a thick and heavy feeling when I put it on at night as well. I’m going to keep using it until it runs out and see what happens then.
The major downside is the price tag. It is really expensive. But Sephora’s website and Dr.B’s website gives you 60 days to return the stuff if it doesn’t work out. Give it a shot ladies, it just may work for you.

Terrible product, did absolutely nothing. Made me break out.

Does not help reduce size of pores. Smell is bad and strong. I have to use quite a bit because it does not spread well on my face. It’s expensive and it does not work for me.

This heavy cream contains tea tree oil, willow bark extract and salicylic acid, but nothing that will deliver on the promises of tightening pores and reducing oil production. I appreciate that it’s scented naturally, but it’s full of parabens and other less-than-ideal ingredients. It’s probably an adequate moisturizer for those who occasionally get blemishes, but for anyone else it’s not a great buy.

I got this as part of a 3-piece sample with the cleanser and primer. I got to use it for less than a week, so I didn’t get to see any improvement of my enlarged pores on my cheeks and forehead. It does have a nice smooth feel going on and absorbs well, leaving the skin feel smooth.
However, even if it worked I wouldn’t buy it because the tea tree oil leaves such a strong medicinal smell on my face that I can’t bear it all day long. It doesn’t go away and putting other products over it doesn’t help. So this is not for me.

Pros:
Texture
Scent
Packaging

Cons:
Mediocre
Conclusion:
I purchased the original Pore Effect and Poreless Gel awhile back and thought I’d revisit this. When I used the other two products before I did end up with smooth clear skin, but this time I wasn’t as impressed. I purchased the Pores No More set from Sephora since I ran out of both my moisturizer and cleanser. I don’t think the formula has changed, but I think the cleanser stripped my skin to the point that the moisturizer couldn’t compensate which explains why I’m unimpressed this time. I don’t think I’ll repurchase, but its still a good product anyway.
