I love this cleanser! Im 35 and have combination skin with some acne. If I use traditional acne washes, they’re too drying. If I use normal cleansers, I break out. Seems I can’t win. This cleanser seems to solve my dilemma! I don’t recommend it for dry or sensitive skin, but for mine it’s perfect. The acids in it clear my acne and it cleanses my oily areas without overdrying my normal areas. Highly recommend for combination skin.

There is a definite scent to this product but I can’t seem to put my finger on what it reminds me of. In addition to hyaluronic acid it also contains glycerin which makes this cleanser hydrating and gentle for the skin. The exfoliation is both physical (“naturally derived skin smoothers”) and chemical, in the form of both glycolic acid and lactic acid. I don’t really know what the “naturally derived skin smoothers” are but at least it doesn’t contain micro beads. I do find this to be gentle and effective at exfoliating and cleansing my face. It is quite economical at less than $10 CAD. I’m not sure if I will re-purchase, I can’t seem to stop myself from trying out the latest and greatest on the market.

This product contains glycolic acid, which initially gave my face a glow, but it made my cheeks very red and my skin became extremely dry, then my pores were all clogged and I got some bad breakouts. It was pretty harsh on my skin. The price I paid for it was ok but wouldn’t recommend if you have sensitive or acne-prone skin.
