Does anyone actually need this product? No. Does it do something no other product can do? Not really. Is this the Holy Grail of anything? Nope. Which is why this is irritating and funny at the same time. You see, I have no idea why I like this stuff as much as I do.
It’s just a bottle of compressed water, after all. If I want a mist of water, I put filtered water into a spray bottle, set it to a fine mist, and spray. It literally feels, smells and behaves the same. It’s probably exactly the same. So what’s with the flirty little bottle of pressurized water with traces of raisin extract in it?
I do not know and I am absolutely vexed.
It’s not the brand name, company, hype, packaging, marketing, look, feel, smell or the fact that the travel sizes fit so nicely and neatly into my everyday bag. With the exception of the last feature, which is mere convenience, none of this matters to me. At almost 20 USD for 200 ML it is really hard to justify this purchase but this product always seems to find its way to me on birthdays and holidays.
You have no idea how much it pains me to admit I like this rather spendy product that literally does nothing essential whatsoever but I do. I do like it. There, I said it. It’s my special occasion thing. A little something spoiling. Extraneous, unnecessary, even silly. No one needs this, least of all me. Why do I like this? Seriously, why? I DO NOT KNOW WHY I LIKE IT I JUST DO. You seductive little minx, you have ruined me with luxury and I hate you for it.

I’ve been using this product for many years. I usually wear mineral or powder foundation and powder blush. After applying those and before my eye makeup, I spray this on my face to “set” my foundation and settle the powders down. The spray is very fine and works great for this. Sometimes, when I remember, I will spray this on my face at night before applying my moisturizer for additional moisture.

Free sample worked very well to add moisture to the face for your aha, and acids. Found out later that evIan makes double that as a facial water spray 2 10oz bottles for ten. Plus great for your hair to wet for a quick blow dry. Grape water is not essential just nice if you want to name.

I absolutely swear by Caudalie Grape Water.
I have tried several high end, and low end moisturizing setting sprays, and this is by far my favorite.
A very fine mist delivers immediate moisture. Can be used prior to makeup to invigorate the skin, or after to create more of a lifelike, natural finish.
I notice a difference when I don’t use this product after my makeup application. Very flat, and dead looking.
I have since purchased this 2 and now 3 times over again. Definitely try this product, truly love it.
