I have used this for a long time and always go back to it. It’s helped my acne prone skin a lot. The product may be too strong for some people and overuse may cause peeling but for me benzac 10% is my choice. I recommend a really good moisturiser afterwards and during the day always wear sunscreen.

I could definately not live without this product. I have been using it since i was 17 almost every night on the zones that i can feel there is a pimple about to come. It definately dries them and helps them go away. It also has an antibiotic effect on them and prevents the infection. This product is very strong, so it dries your skin a lot, i would not recommend to use it all over your face, only on the problem areas unless you have a serious acne problem. I only get breakouts once in a while and this is very helpfull to make the go away rapidly and prevent them from appearing.

I tried Benzac 10 for 1-2 days and I was so disappointed because I didn’t really see much of a difference. Everything changed when I was having a really bad breakout and I thought nothing could make it worse (I was exaggerating hahaha) so I tried this.
I always used a cotton bud to dot on my spots before I went to sleep.. True enough, you’ll see the difference after a week! I normally put this cream on my spots after toner or after moisturiser, depending on how dry my skin is. This cream really dries out your skin sometimes and I would say it doesn’t make your pimples vanish overnight but it calms and flattens the pimples over time. I’m not sure if it’ll prevent scarring or helps with it but my pimples heal better now thanks to this cream.
Overall, a great buy and I’ll definitely repurchase!

HANDS DOWN BEST CLEARING ACNE PRODUCT EVER!
I’ve seen on the internet that benzoyl peroxide is a great agent to clear acne. I had tried oxy 10 and neutrogena 2.5% before, both which have benzoyl peroxide in it but i don’t know why, my face reacts so badly to both of it. I got rashes on my face and my pimples look 10x worse. So i came to the conclusion that My face is really sensitive to benzoyl peroxide and wanted to give up products that contain benzoyl peroxide. Fortunately, I tried benzac 5% for my skin and it works amazingly. No rashes. No bad reaction. But it cleared up most of my pimples. However it’s not that strong enough to clear up those whiteheads and blackheads so I tried the 10% one. MY FACE IS SUPER CLEAR AFTER USING RELIGOUSLY FOR A FEW WEEKS!
I will always apply it in the morning and night.
For beginner users of benzoyl peroxide, I recommend trying the 2.5% first and then 5%, 10%.
For dry skin, make sure always apply moisurizer after applying it on your skin because this can really dry out ur skin.
Everybody who has acne should try this product, this is the only product I can’t live without!

After using Proctiv and Proactiv plus for about 2 years and seeing little to no changes in my skin, I decided to give this a go after a friend recommended it to me. Best product I’ve ever used on my face, had no peeling whatsoever (probably because my skin is used to the harshness of Proactiv) and it cleared my skin up completely in about a month.
It does leave a bit of a white residue on your face when it dries but nothing to worry about since I only ever use it over night. Doesn’t stain linen!
I tried the 5% first and it did not help at all, but the 10% is amazing!

Thank god for Benzac 10%. I have been using this for about five years now, after experiencing the onset of adult acne. I tried a number of different products of which none worked. After doing a bit of research I started with Benzac. You have to ask for the 10% from behind the counter at the pharmacy. Within about two weeks my skin was completely clear. Initially I used it day and night, and I did get some redness and minor peeling on my neck, which cleared quickly. Now I only use it at night, over moisturiser. It is not really suitable to use under makeup.
My skin was really bad, to the point of embarrassment, and I was overjoyed to find something that works SO well. Also, it is cheap, and I can keep using my favourite skin care products without having to change my whole routine. A word of warning though, it will bleach all your pillow cases etc so be very careful!
I highly recommend this product.

I’ve been using Benzac for more than a year now, and it really does do miracles for my skin. It really is about how much you use it, and how much you put on, as if you do put on too much it will dry out your skin a little bit. I don’t get very much drying at all (it’s not visibly noticeable), and nothing that a bit of moisturiser won’t fix. I wouldn’t recommend using this product every single day because if you do, your skin ‘gets used’ to it and it doesn’t work nearly as well. I use Benzac when I feel that my skin is going to/is starting to break out, and it makes it go away!
Overall, this is a wonderful product if you put a thin layer on your skin whenever you feel your skin is going to break out. It’s about when and how you use it. If used properly, this product is a godsend!

I’ve been prescribed benzac ac 10 by my dermatologist about 1 month and a half ago and been using this ever since. I looooove it :). yes theres alot of peeling but it’s worth it because it even kills the most problematic fat cysts in 2-3 days… it has a thicker texture then milk of magnesia but drys out the same way (leaving a white residue on your face). It is the best matfying, pimple/cyst killer out there.
Because I have such oily skin, even when I do not have a pimple or cyst, i smear it on my forehead before sleeping because if I don’t I wake up oily, and VOILA I wake up matte.
Downside is you will always need to exfoliate, upside is your skin is clear and once you clean away all the dead skinexfoliating…….. you have a beautiful glow (my skin is very sensitive btw and it worked wonders). 🙂

i have repurchased this item 4 times before. i have never started on the 2.5% or the 5%, just because i use it in the nighttime when i am sleeping. if you wanted to wear this in the day (which you can) try the 2.5% and then moisturise and then wear your foundation or your make up over it. if you do this though, make sure you spot treat, don’t lather it on like you would at nighttime because this will make you peel like crazy and your foundation go all funny.
the packaging is standard, when you finish the tube its hard to squeeze the rest out.
the price is expensive for a pimple cream, its $16AUD at the cheapest chemists. this is worth it though because you get a 50mL tube.
my skin peels when i do use this, but i exfoliate and i use my normal moisturiser and i don’t flake.
it did get rid of all my comdeones and pimples and acne. kinda made my face abit wrinkly though?? i use tretinoin in the night tough so this counteracts it
