No, just no. I’ve been a faithful consumer of Shiseido for years and adore most of their products. I tried this one during the more humid months for my combo skin which leans towards high shine, normal with no dryness during those months. This gel actually made it worse. My skin felt drier and the fine lines were highlighted without any plumping of my skin. Not exactly an effect I was looking for. I added booster serum, booster drops to the mix which aided my skin and made usage work. But on its own, it failed. When a product fails for my face, instead of chucking it to the garbage, I use it elsewhere on my body so I’m not wasting my money. Body and bum creams are just as expensive, why not use these instead of throwing them out?

So this is a great product for anyone that has oily or combination skin. I like this face cream very much in the summer but I find that I need a boosting serum to feel adequate hydration. Otherwise it is an excellent product. I went on the advice of the beauty consultant, but it wasn’t a 100% fit for me. I need something a bit richer.
