Kind of upset writing this… I really wanted to love this cleanser, as I really like the brand so far. While I was abroad this summer I bought the LRP toleriane Purifying cream cleanser. I’m just about to run out and was sad to see that this particular cleanser is not available in Ireland. I loved that one because it was so gentle , and fragrance free, and it really made it a difference in keeping my acne prone skin clear. I was amazed.
I saw this one in Boots and decided to buy it as it sounds like it’s suited for my skin type as I have oily/combo acne prone skin. This cleanser has a fragrance which I immediately did not like. It lathered on just fine though, and cleansed my skin well, left my skin feeling nice and fresh. I used it the first night, and the morning after I looked in the mirror and saw these strange bumps. They don’t look like pimples, kind of red, not that noticeable but really strange as I never get them. I decided to continue using the cleanser in the morning as well as last night. This morning I woke up with the same bumps but they have spread. On my cheeks and around my mouth and hairline, and I NEVER breakout there. Just examined my face again tonight and I’m really freaked out by these bumps. The only thing that has changed in my routine is this cleanser so I think this is what has caused it. I’m not sure what it caused but some kind of allergic reaction possibly. I’ve never had this reaction from a cleanser before and I’ve tried a lot. Now I know it could be something else but because this has happened JUST after using the cleanser, I’m going to blame it. I’m going to stop using the cleanser and see if the bumps go away. And maybe in the future I’ll try it once more. But for now I don’t want to afford breaking out. Just sharing my experience. Will try the CeraVe foaming cleanser for oily skin next and see how that works out.

Good value for the cleanliness you get. Does not irritate my dry skin

When I ran out ot my holy grail cleanser and didn’t find any online reasonable deals for that cleanser, I decided to bought this. At first, I bought share in jars (the seller actually put this in small flip cap bottle) to test if my skin like this cleanser or not. It turns out that I didn’t have breakouts when using it, so I purchase full 200ml tube.
My skin is dehydrated oily & fungal acne prone. Here’s what I experienced so far:
Pros:
– pretty hygienic, comes in a tube.
– not drying my skin but feels clean
– not much difference from my holy grail cleanser
Cons:
– added fragrance which I don’t like
– if I’m not mistaken, it has no zinc..? my skin likes zinc
Routines:
– effaclar gel cleanser
– hatomugi toner or effaclar toner (only twice a week at night)
– propolis serum (day) & niacinamide serum (night)
– nadifloxacin cream (topical acne treatment. If only I have acne/s)
– gel moisturizer (day) or my baby’s sebamed face cream

Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had with a cleanser! I have combination skin so I thought I would try this since it says it’s gentle and pH balanced. Lies! It made my face feel like a desert and I had to moisturize like crazy! I felt like my face was gonna crack if I moved and all of this was from my second use. I enjoyed the fragrance and the packaging but I would never purchase it again. I wouldn’t even recommend this to people with very oily skin. It’s just gonna dry you out and make you produce more oil.

This is a wonderful cleanser, the 400 mL is the best buy! I use this on my face and my body. Occasionally I get breakouts on my back, and this works wonderfully to cleanse that area and clear up any blemishes. The cost is fairly low and the 400 mL is a better buy than the 200 mL. This is a really gentle cleanser that I highly recommend for oilier/acne prone skin.

This has been one of the best cleansers for my combo/oily acne prone skin. It really soothes and cleanses well without stripping. I use this morning and night and noticed a difference when I incorporated it into my routine. My skin seems to really like zinc and the thermal water in the cleanser is soothing as well. Not crazy about the scent but I can live with it. I bought the big pump bottle at Boots and it has lasted a long time, even using it twice a day. Definitely recommend.

I think this is a great morning cleanser to clean acne prone, sensitive skin without irritation. Great for combination to oily skin types.I like that is has a pH of 5.5 and rinses clean. Does leave my skin feeling dry. I do not like the strong floral scent of this cleanser though.

Just tried it after seeing it at Priceline on sale with effaclar duo for $15. Worst money I’ve ever spent. Used it last night as my second cleans followed by duo and it seemed ok didn’t feel wow but wasn’t bad either. Then tried it again this morning as a first cleanser and as soon as I washed it off I noticed my skin around my t-zone flare up red. (My skin is usually combination with a few spots here and there and has been a bit dry coming into winter). It feels like it has burnt my face :'( my face is still red and a bit tender around my nose ,chin , forehead and cheeks 🙁 nightmare. Would definitely not recommend or rebuy.
