This is my favorite facial spray hands down. Ive tried LA Roche posay as well and I much prefer Avene. It feels so gentle and refreshing as if its hugging my skin. The mist is so fine and diffused I love it. It is known that the creator of Avene was owned horses and one day one of his injured horse ran away to the spring water and came back healed. The eau Thermale is soothing and helps refresh my makeup and melt my makeup together with my skin. I no longer use mac fix +. I use this every morning after I cleanse with micellar water and after makeup application or just throughout the day if I am feeling dry or need a pick me up.

For something that costs a fraction of Mac Fix+ and works wonderfully, I am fully sold and never turning back. I love Mac’s setting spray but I dislike the cheap bottle and the poor control of the awful spray nozzle that left visible droplets on my face. Now THIS bottle (Avene) feels luxurious and solid compared to Mac. It sprays beautifully – the mist is fine and undetectable on my face even drenched. It works perfectly well in softening the powdered look, which is why I use setting spray in the first place. Very much in love and happy. While I do miss the Coconut scent in Mac, this product is sooo much better for you. My two cents. Dump all others and use this one 🙂

This feels really refreshing. If you are normal to dry, this is really nice because it is hydrating and doesn’t have ingredients that will break you out. It’s convenient also if you are too lazy at night to do your routine. You can just mist your face and fall asleep for added hydration.

made my face very red and oily.
Most thermal waters like La Roche Posay and this have ruined my skin.
Evian is the only thing I can use for my rosacea.

I know that majority of this product is made of water, it doesn’t prime, or do much, just simply refreshes the face BUT my best usage for this product is to Dampen my brushes to Apply some Eyeshadow Shades to make them pop even more and it works Amazing!! The spray sprays perfectly in a light Mist so it just dampens the brushes just enough. It does feel refreshing to spray your face but this product is a holy grail for wetting brushes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I bought this product about 6 months ago, and have used it off and on. Until 2 weeks ago, I would have given this a 2 out of 5 review, but that has all changed.
The company claims that this water has unique healing and calming properties (originally discovered on a horse with a severe skin condition in the 1700’s, as per their website.) I had not noticed any magical improvements to my skin using it, however, I had never really had a major skin issue. This changed 2 months ago, when I developed a case of dermatitis on my right arm. Steroid creams, moisturizers, calming lotions… Nothing was getting rid of it. I decided to spray some of this water on my arm twice daily, and within 2 days the redness started to subside. Within 5 days, my arm was almost back to normal.
If you already have good skin, the most you can expect with this product, is perhaps a slight softening effect, however, I would highly recommend it for anyone with dry, tight, irritated skin, or eczema. I will be repurchasing it, not for daily use, but for anytime I feel my skin needs a little extra TLC.

Look, I agree that this product is a bit useless and it’s like paying a premium for water in a can but I don’t know I’ve been really loving it! It’s such a fun and great luxury item to use; it definitely hasn’t helped my skin in any long-term effects but it’s definitely great in cooling my skin when I’m hot or calming it in situations like after waiting in between the end of a peel and the rest of my skincare. It makes me feel like a rich Parisian on the balcony of the city every time I spray it but I do agree that one doesn’t NEED this product at all. I will be repurchasing this as it’s niche uses are really great for those waiting-time moments.

Wow I thought it was doing good for me at the start.
I’ve been using this for maybe a week.
It’s making my face dry the more I use it.
It does lessen break outs BUT DAMN MY FACE IS SO TIGHT THAT IT HURTS.
I’m in legit pain.
I kept on thinking “No .. it’s not the water, I’m sure it’s not” but BOY was I wrong. This is the only thing I’ve added to my simple skin routine.
I also use it before I moisturize as a toner.
Don’t use on dry skin, especially if you are using differin.
I regret touching it so much. My moisture barrier is BROKEN.

fun to use. It took me a while before I understand the benefit of this product. It comes in handy whenever I need to wet my nose before applying nose strip. I spray it on days I get really dry skin and high humid occassions. I also spray it on my dry wound or scab just to moisture it.

I tried to get benefit out of this by using it regularly and consistently. Two of the smaller cans later, I still don’t understand the hype. I don’t know what soothing, refreshing, hydrating effects the Fairy of Unfair Things granted the satisfied customers but I didn’t get any and I feel dumb for having had some hope in water. It didn’t make anything worse, or irritate. It did nothing. I don’t think i’ll buy canned water again.
