I can’t believe that this Brand of Rose Water is not sold solely as a skin care product. By FAR, the best skin toner and all around skin care product I have ever used. When times got tough, I couldn’t purchase expensive skin care brands anymore, and decided to use this to tone my skin before moisturizing. I was amazed at how my skin started glowing instantly. Good job, Cortas! Im going to try their orange blossom water and see if that has a similar effect. It’s obvious the quality of their floral water products are high and appear to be organic and 100% natural.

My favourite thing of all time to tone my skin with. Smells divine and leaves face both clean and soft. I can’t be without this item and always have it. I also love their orange blossom water. The item varies hugely in price for me depending on where i buy it from. At the moment I am using amazon, but it’s far pricier than most places

Cortas! I use this as a toner, though it might be more correct to call it a “skin tonic” since I doubt it does anything ph-wise for the skin. Cortas Rosewater is housed in a delightful glass bottle that looks like it came from your Yiayia’s stash of goods from the old country and is even less expensive than the Heritage brand and twice as good, in my opinion. I was devoted to Heritage for years but wanted to upgrade—but since all other rosewaters are more expensive than these 2, I decided to try Cortas.
It has a pure & potent non-artificial rose scent, and from what I understand it is a true rosewater, while many others are simply water with rose essential oil added. It is so, so cheap (I bought 4 bottles for like $15).
I can’t really quantify the positive effects it has on my skin, but a) it definitely doesn’t do anything bad and b) my skin is really happy whenever I use it, so I will keep doing so. I wipe my face down with it after cleansing, splash some on before moisturizing for that extra shot of hydration (especially good when used right before rosehip oil), and decant some into an old setting spray to use as a post-powder-foundation locking spritz as well as an overall pick me up. I spray it all over me, all the time. It smells lovely, freshens, makes me happy, hydrates, de-frizzes my hair, gets rid of weird smells on clothes in a jiffy, etc etc etc.
I have yet to experiment with the culinary possibilities, but it can be used in countless desserts, iced tea, simple syrups—the list goes on. Cortas is a Lebanese brand, and rosewater is used in many Middle Eastern desserts, so that’s probably why it is so good.
I plan on figuring out a way to reuse the bottles, perhaps as candle holders? Although my mother might call me a bruja. Again.

After using and enjoying the results of Alteya Organics White Rose Water, I needed something that was cheaper. I can’t find Cortas in stores by me but I did find it on Amazon. I bought one Alteya 17 ounce bottle for $23 and four 10 ounce bottles of Cortas for $21 (+shipping for both brands). And looking at Amazon as I am writing this, the price is now $17.99. Much more product for something I use everyday.
I use it as a toner, morning and night. I pour it in a spray bottle mist it all over my face and let it dry. I also use it as a gentle morning cleanser with a cotton ball. My skin is less inflamed and has less breakouts. My skin used to be dull, but it now has life back in it.
I’ve being using this brand everyday since mid-February of this year, and it’s safe to say it’s a staple in my routine.

This stuff is the bomb.com!! I was doing some “skin research” and I kept hearing about rose water. So I got some of this. It smells soo good! I use it just like toner. My skin feels nice afterwards. I also mist my hair and skin just because it smells so nice!
The reason why I started looking into rose water is because I have super oily skin AND adult acne. In addition i have acne scarring AND hyperpigmentation…some ppl think they have “acne scarring” when it’s just hyperpigmentation. Well…. I have both. So, rose water kept popping up over and over in my skin research regarding my skin concerns.
It helps a lot with acne and it’s good for my skin. It also helps with dryness when acne medication is making my skin dry and flaky. Win win!
Another thing I started doing was pouring a tiny bit into my water bottle and drinking it. It’s food grade so there’s no harm there!! And unlike other “food grade” rose waters– this one only contains pure rose water! Others have only a percentage of rose water and sometimes food coloring — all sorts of crazy things. BUT NOT CORTAS!!! Cortes is just pure rose water goodness!!!
I am prepared and always have at least 4 bottles on hand or I don’t feel comfortable because it can be difficult to find here in Utah, especially in my area of town.
Start using Cortas!! It’s food grade, no alcohol, unlike other”rose water toners” that have alcohol and other extra stuff. It also soothes irritations… when my son with eczema has a rash starting, we put a cotton ball with some cool rose water and relief!!!!
I love this stuff!! Smells amazing and works amazingly on your skin! At around $3.50 a bottle, you can’t go wrong with this!!! USE on your skin AND make a yummy drink with it too!

Found at the health food store. This and red palm oil make my lotions smell amazing! Also makes a decent toner. Food wise this made really amazing Rose Mochi.

Totally agree with the reviewer below! This stuff is so great in every possible way that I almost wouldn’t want others to know about it!!! It’s cheap, all-natural, comes in a big glass bottle, easily accessible, smells & tastes amazing, doesn’t create skin problems, and has so many uses. I transfer mine into an empty spray bottle and spritz myself from head to toe all the time—I don’t know about you, but I don’t mind smelling like i just walked out of a luxurious bath filled with rose petals (but the smell is very mild, so it won’t offend anybody who dislikes the smell of roses!) I purchase 10 oz. bottles from a local persian market for less than 3 bucks each. Also love the orange blossom water from the same brand. Seriously can’t go wrong with this!!

update: I recently purchased a few more bottles of this again, but this time all 3 bottles had a strange smell similar to burnt tire…I ended up throwing all of them away. 🙁 very disappointing. I’m hoping it was just a bad batch.

This is a very cheap and natural rosewater which may be used as a toner. You really cannot beat the price, so check it out if you are looking for some DIY ingredients.

OMG I would love to highly recommend this product. It is so cheap and for that price it is the best rose water ever. It smells good and helps balance your skin quickly.

This I add to my baths with powdered milk and honey and it is super luxurious and totally natural.
