Ok, so before I started using these buff puffs, I was a religious clarisonic user! I mean, I used my Clarisonic every single morning for years. I have oily skin with blackheads in my t-zone. Horrible. I fight with my skin constantly 🙁 I use 3% salicylic acid twice a day, morning and night, as well as 5% Benzoyl Peroxide at night, over my SA. Which means, I am always flakey!
Well, this buff puff works better than my Clarisonic! No lie. It is faster and easier to work with, you just have to be careful not to press down too hard and scratch your face. I apply mild pressure and go in circular motions all over my face in the morning with my face wash on it. Works great and costs 1/10th the cost of a clarisonic! LOL. I will continue to buy these!!
Anybody want my Clarisonic??

I love these sponges. They’re not something I use every day because they can be a little rough for that. But I use Retin-A, which makes my skin peel. These work great at exfoliating and getting rid of that dead skin. These sponges, IMHO, are better than any other exfoliating agent out there, and they’re cheaper than anything else. Give ’em a try!!

Love my but put face sponge 🙂
It helps with gentle exfoliation when you add some products to it also helps it sink in better.
I always try to keep this around and with me

I first started using Buf-Puf’s probably the 1st year they hit the Market. It seems like 20 or 25 years ago, or maybe longer. Every night, using my Buf-Puf, I have “gently” cleaned the makeup off my face, rinsed it good and put my moisturizer on. Now, at 75, everyone says that I look about 50 because I have very few, and small, wrinkles. I know that some of it is probably due to family genes but I know that a lot of it is from the daily exfoliation routine using your Buf-Puf. I have given one to all of my granddaughters, daughter in laws and friends with high praise and use instructions so that down the road they too can have fewer wrinkles and clearer skin. If you ever need someone to do a commercial praising the benefits of your Buf-Puf give me a call and I will show you what years of using it will look like.

This little baby is awesome! Wish I’d bought one sooner! I stupidly used it with an exfoliating scrub first, so it got little beads stuck all through it and I had to buy another lol. Used with a cleanser, it helps really scrub my face clean, remove makeup and dead skin cells and get the product right down in the pores. My face feels so smooth after using this and soaks up any skincare product I use after it.

Found the regular and sensitive version in my local HEB, hadn’t seen these in years. I used these back in high school and they are as great as I remember. They work just as good if not better than my Clarisonic Mia because they reach around the nose perfectly. IF U CAN’T FIND THESE, TRY THE SWISSPERS WALNUT EXFOLIATING SPONGE FOUND AT CVS AND WALMART. Those are hard core and are wonderful for the body!!!!! Only downside is they get really thin & soft and worn out & have to be replaced sooner than the Buf Puf.
The dark spots on my cheek bones are gone! I’ve had them for over a year and now they are completely gone! The only thing I have done different is using the “regular ” Buf Puf & Dr. Bronners tea tree soap ..not even my Clarisonic or Murad products helped with these nasty spots. The exfoliation u get with these are gentle enough to use every day and even help with fading old acne marks. FREAKIN BUY IT…. $4BUCKS!
P.S. for those who do have a Clarisonic I was told by Sephora workers that it is NOT necessary to purchase replacement heads every 3months (unless they are splayed ) and to simply clean the brushes with antibacterial soap, vinegar, or hydrogen peroxide. The whole needing to purchase new brushheads every so often is just a way of making $ as it is Not necessary. Heck, even toothbrushes are recommended to be replaced every 6months instead of 3.
8/22/15 Am still using the same BufPuf..I microwave it for a minute every week to kill any bacteria..it’s still good as new, it even puffs back up after being in the microwave.

I used both the face and body Buf Pufs in the past and now only use the body one. Skin freaks might want to look away, but I use the same body buf puf on my face now and stopped buying the face ones. I buy them on amazon. I’m not sure if that’s the cheapest place or not, but it’s easy and you can get 6-packs.
I used to have a Clarisonic brush and also have a Neutrogena microdermabrasion brush. My Clarisonic was nice but broke in less than 6 months. Huge bummer, and I would also notice buildup under the brush attachment. Yuck. The Neutrogena brush is a much better deal, but it felt like it was beating up my face, and I don’t like that the pads come with cleanser already on them.
Enter Buf Puf. I have really difficult dry skin on my body. My face is more combination. I use the Buf Puf everywhere. Head to toe.
The most impressive results I have from these are on my nose (so smooth!) and my shoulders, upper arms, and back. My skin magically seems to be simultaneously dry and oily in these areas. Lucky, right? While my face doesn’t break out often, my shoulders and back do, and frequently. My skin was eternally bumpy. Buf pufs have made my skin in these “trouble areas” SO MUCH smoother. It’s dramatic. I’m a convert. No more wash cloths. No more fancy electric brushes. No more scrubs. Only buf puf. Praise buf puf.

I love this product.
What I do is cut up the sponge in quarters–I like using it in a smaller size so I can maneuver the sponge better around my face, and you get more bang for your buck (I can stretch 1 full sponge for up to 2 months). Every time I use it (1-2x week), I still get amazed at how much dirt, gunk & dead skin it lifts off my skin, and as a result, not only does it make my skin look and feel better but makeup glides more smoothly & stays puts better as well. Amusingly, I can only buy this from a hardware/DIY chain here, and it’s not exactly cheap but it’s quite effective so I’ll definitely be repurchasing over and over again.

This sponge is amazing. It removed a lot of my blackheads and skin impurities. My skin looks and feels so much better. It’s smoother, brighter, and tighter. I tried the Clarisonic Mia 2, but it didn’t work for me. It made my skin softer, but broke me out quite a bit.
I love this product!

I adore this little guy. After my face heals from a chemical peel (COMPLETELY HEALS) I use this to get the little leftover flakies off. I go gentle with it. Anyway, I wash it with baby shampoo and run alcohol over it to try and keep it sterile while it’s still good, then when it’s on it’s last leg and looking raggedy, I just go get a new one. They are pretty darn cheap. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! 🙂
