This is a pretty good serum to draw in extra hydration. I use it immediately after washing my face, whilst still a tad damp, then follow with my moisturizer. This serum helps to draw into my skin more effectively the hydration of my moisturizer. This has been working great in the dry winter months, particularly with pregnancy skin. At first when I began using it, I did notice a slight increase in some skin blemishes, but I’m not sure if it was this serum or my moisturizer… it didn’t last long though and hasn’t caused me any further breakouts (a rarity for my super sensitive, break-out prone skin). I love the texture and few of this serum, very light and water-like, yet it does make a difference in hydration and softness of my skin. The scent is mild enough not to bother me. I do find it a bit pricey in the US but I can find it on offer for a very good price at CVS from time to time. Definitely worth the sale price to help in the hydration step of my skin routine.

I’ve been using for almost 5 month now as a daily average morning moisturizer, or after dermarolling. I feels light weight, and sometimes I follow up with something more emollient because it’s not enough for my dry skin. It simple, but not amazing. For what it is I would not rush out and pay full price since it’s average, however I would wait for a sale or find good discount at Ulta or where ever there is a special. I think there are some other good hydroluranic serums that work just as good.

Is it expensive for what it really does. I don’t feel really hydrated using it. Better use as primer before makeup

I got a sample of this and shockingly I didn’t think it gave me any break outs as everything else on earth does. However the fragrance is WAY too strong. That’s a big no for me, when companies do that. I don’t like it. I typically use Silk Naturals serums and they get to about $20 for an ounce for some of their fancy ones, but their ingredients are way better and I actually see results from them and NO fragrance.
This makes your skin feel soft for a bit, but I don’t think it’s anything special or effective and very expensive for what you get. I like some Vichy but some I really don’t. This isn’t bad it’s just unnecessary when there’s better stuff out there for less money. I do like the sample bottle to reuse for other serums for travel.

I really liked at first…I used a half a bottle of this over the winter, at night, before using the Aqualia Thermal Riche cream. But after awhile I noticed my pores were clogged…I was getting tiny bumps on my face in places where I never have issues. I stopped using this and started using just the cream on its own and immediately the problem went away. This is definitely not moisturizing enough (for me) to use on its own, I find it to be very light, absorbs instantly, a good serum, but did not pair well with the Rich cream. Im planning to switch to the Aqualia Thermal Light soon, now that the weather is warmer, and I will try to finish off my bottle paired with the lighter cream. But all in all I’m not sure this serum is necessary. It just provides an extra moisture boost, it doesn’t have any super duper anti-aging, smoothing, or brightening ingredients…it clogged my pores without a doubt and I don’t have clog prone skin…and I feel if you’re already using a good moisturizer it just seems irrelevant. I will add that I love Vichy products and really expected to love this. It’s ok but meh

I used to be a big Vichy fan but at some point in resent years something has changed as the product don’t do anything for my skin anymore and I have tried a lot of the products of the newish and “improved” Thermal and Idealia series. Still miss the old face cream that used to have hyalyronic acid… Anyway, this too did nothing for me and being a “serum” I has some expectations for it and yet I noticed absolutely nothing. Same with the Idealia serum. The search for a new favorite continues.

Brilliant lightweight serum that’s made for the morning layering regime. It sinks straight into the skin in 5 – 10 seconds and I’m ready to go with an extra serum, often a vitamic C, and a moisturizer. Follow up with sunscreen and my face is well prep for make up.
This serum instantly imparts moisture and healthy plumpness and my skin looks much better and glowy well before I apply any make up. I have skin that loves any form of moisture but this is the best serum I have tried so far that has vowed me.
I must have gone through at least three bottles so far and I have no intention of stopping! I love this stuff!

I bought this serum along with the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Night Spa. I used them both together everyday for about a month and a half now. I did like the Night Spa a lot better than the serum. I have combination skin that is dehydrated and I found that the serum didn’t really help with it.
The texture of this serum is like a milky-gel and it’s very lightweight. It does absorb very quickly without greasiness/stickiness and made my skin look smooth/hydrated after I pat it in my face (I used 1 pump). That’s the positive thing, everything did apply easily over it without pilling.
However, after a few minutes my skin did not feel hydrated anymore. Even if I applied the Night Spa cream over it, I could feel that the serum didn’t help with my dehydration. I tried to only apply the Night Spa cream without the serum and my skin felt a little bit better. It seems that the serum didn’t really help my skin that much, with or without it. I felt my skin drier/tighter and I thought it was the Night Spa cream, but it wasn’t. Only when I used the serum underneath it that I could feel some discomfort on my skin.
I am not too sure about the 48-hour hydration claim. It doesn’t live up to that in my case. It did help but only for a little while, the Night Spa cream did help a lot more if I have to compare.
This serum also have some ingredients that could irritate or clog your pores like carrageenan and fragrance. I didn’t experience any breakout. For the expensive price and not really performing to its claim, I will not repurchase this serum.

Im editing my review for this product, I loved it at first and used it regularly for about 3 or 4 months but I began to notice my skin very gradually getting worse, I noticed fine lines starting to appear deeper and my skin becoming more dry, it was like the more of it I used the more I had to use.
I did an experiment and didnt use the product for about a month, my skin was very dry and it took some time to balance it out again but it eventually went back to how it was pre serum and my fines weren’t half as noticeable as they had become with regular use of the product, I then used the product one evening, cleansed when I got home and went to bed, the next day I noticed lines under my eyes were really deep and my skin was so dehydrated, at this point I would have otherwise applied more serum thinking my skin needs it as its instant results are positive but I think in the long run it does more harm than good.

So, I’m kinda new with the whole serum thing. This is the first one I have ever tried but I frickin’ love it already! I have very dry skin and since it’s still cold-ish outside I was researching things to help hydrate my skin.
I love this product because you do not need much for your skin to feel hydrated. When I use this it leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth all day long! And it sinks in like a miracle, which can also be a bad thing tho.. I love that it sinks in so quickly because you can go on slapping your moisturizer over it without waiting for your serum to sink in. But, I have to say it sinks in a bit too fast for me to spread it along my face propperly.
And then there’s the ammount of product you get for the price.. I love this serum, it is very hydrating so don’t get me wrong but I don’t think one of these bottles will last me very long, and that’s kind of the down side to it. But in comparison to a lot of serums out there the price is not bad at all for what the product actually does.
I must say, it does a good job of moisturizing my face without feeling icky and sticky. I have noticed a big difference since I started including this in my skincare routine. No more itchy dry skin throughout the day.
So yeah, I love this stuff. Does not have a funny smell if you ask me. Nice texture, maybe a bit too quick with sinking in the skin but hey that’s not so bad. Just have to get over myself about the price but overall a great serum!
