   This product is amazing!!! I have had moderate to severe acne since I was 11. I have tried it all from prescription meds to Proactive. Within a week of using this product my face was completely clear. My face felt smooth and clean all day. And my skin barely had any oil buildup, even after working 10 hours. I use the bar soap, because for some reason the pump wash dries my skin out. The only downfall of the bar is it isn’t protected, so I keep it in a travel soap case. There is not much of a smell, which is fine. I encourage anyone who has struggled with acne with no results, to use this product. It’s effective and very inexpensive. I got a two pack for $3.97 at Walmart.

   I can’t believe there aren’t more reviews on this product! I’ve had acne forever and usually panoxyl works wonders for me..but for some reason the past few months my skin has been so awful and the benzoyl peroxide products I use just make it worse–irritated, scaly, red and itchy…with more and more acne. So I decided to switch to salicylic acid (which I’ve never had much luck with-but I figure maybe my skin is older and it might do the trick) and I’m really glad I did. So far, so good. The package says “clearer skin in 3 days” so far I’m on day 2 and it’s already made my skin so much better (I hope I’m not speaking too soon). My skin feels somewhat normal for the first time in months. AND I got TWO bars for $3.97 at Walmart…so either way, it’s not a loss to give it a shot.

   I absolutely love this bar soap. I’ve been struggling with bad skin since third grade when I noticed my first blackheads. I’m now 27 and am always on the hunt for the next best thing.

   I trust Dial products a lot more than other products out there, but I was still cautious to try a salicylic acid soap as I have never had great success with them in the past. However, something is different about this soap because I haven’t once had an issue over the two months I’ve been using it.

   You can occasionally find a coupon in the paper for this item, and a few weeks ago Ibotta had a $3.00 cash back offer. I was sold! I only use this soap in the evening as it’s really drying (even on my incredibly oily skin), but I’m sure to follow it with a rich moisturizer. Definitely give this product a try as it’s cleared my body 90% more than anything else ever has, and it makes my face so much smoother. My acne is under better control now and I don’t plan to switch up my routine any time soon.

   I was surprised to see that there had not been any reviews for this particular bar soap, so I figured I would shed some light on this product and my experience with it. My review is for the glycerin bar soap from the acne control line. I began using this December of 2014 (beginning)

   A little bit about my skin: acne prone/clog prone, cystic acne sufferer at varying times, sensitive/reactive skin, & tendency to be dry

   I have battled with my skin since I was probably 15 years old and I am 33 years old to date. I have extremely reactive skin to products, and when it doesn’t like something it definitely lets me know and I go from being perfectly clear to a mess of angry red & painful cysts that take at minimum 2 weeks to fully recover from.

   This bar soap contains salicylic acid at 2% but also contains glycerin which does a great job moisturizing & offsetting the chemical exfoliation of the salicylic acid. (BEWARE, glycerin is not made for everyone so make sure your skin likes it before using this soap) I picked this bar up because it was made for the whole body rather than just the face, as my foaming cleanser would definitely not cover the whole body. The package says you will notice better skin with in 3 days of using this product, & I would say I have to agree that the skin on my body felt really good while still getting exfoliation. I noticed with every use my typical fear of “something popping up” never occurred. This is the real reason for my review of this product because I truly do think this will work for SOME acne prones out there depending on what ingredients your skin tolerates since there may be some in this product that just don’t jive with everyone…

   Using this bar soap I went well over 6 weeks probably closer to 7 with not one facial breakout when a hair product containing cyclopentasiloxane broke both my cheeks and upper shoulders/ back out; HOWEVER, during this time my chest/breast bone area remained completely clear with not even the slightest breakout, not even 1 tiny pimple or cyst during my menstrual cycle & this area is extremely reactive just like my face (I can’t even use lotion here). It’s been 2 months using this soap & I am still clear from using this bar soap on my face & body. The hair product induced breakout began to heal and subside while using this soap & took roughly 1 week not the 3 days like the packaging claimed, but overall I have not tossed this bar soap aside and have really been pleased with this soap (I did toss my flat iron oil though!). I have already re-purchased this product & I would recommend others try it.

   Pros:
   -skin felt very nice after using product for 3 days like package states
   -comes in a pkg. of 2
   -keeps my body & face clear from blemishes
   -not overly drying like other acne products (for me at least)
   -never caused deep painful cysting or angry flareups
   -exfoliated skin nicely not harshly
   -rinses away clean, no residue
   -never burned my skin at point of application
   -cleansed mineral makeup off with no problems
   -greatly calmed skin & redness on active blemishes

   Cons:
   -not an elegant smelling soap
   -doesn’t have the greatest ingredient list for all acne prone people (may cause breakouts for some & not others)
   -bars are somewhat expensive since only 2 in a pack but I’ve paid more (about $3 per bar)
