I love love love LOVE this product. It’s the first massage bar from Lush that I’ve tried and I was very impressed. I love the scent, however I can’t really describe it. It doesn’t smell like anything else that I know and I honestly don’t know how to describe it – it isn’t overly sweet, it’s not fruity, it’s not floral, it’s not clean/fresh, it’s not woody or oriental. It’s just one of those things you’ll have to smell yourself!
I like the shape of it, it’s fairly easy to hold which is important in a massage bar as you have to physically hold it the whole time you use it, and it can become a bit slippery as it melts so it’s important you can keep a good grip on it. The small bump that comes out of it seems a bit pointless to me as it’s only one, and it melts away really quickly. I personally would rather have four bumps rising out of it than just one and having three indentations in the bar as you would end up with more product and would probably get more of that massage effect (until the bumps melted away, anyway) but that’s life.
When you first start using it, it is hard to rub in as it’s just a solid block, but it doesn’t take long before your body heat and the friction of rubbing the bar into your skin makes it melt. As it melts, it leaves a good, thick covering on your skin. It’s an oil based kind of moisturiser and gives a similar feel to a massage oil, but comes in an environmentally friendly solid form. Because of this it can feel a touch greasy when first applied, however it starts absorbing straight away and about five minutes later, it doesn’t feel greasy – just feels like any good moisturiser. It’s long lasting, both in terms of hydration and scent.
My sister and I both use the same one, we’ve had it for about two months and we’ve both used it maybe 2-3 times a week and we still haven’t run out – though we don’t have too much left. As long as you don’t press too hard, it should last you quite a while. If you use too much pressure you’ll end up using more than you need and run through it quicker than you should. You really don’t need much pressure, as it melts very easily and after its melted it spreads into your skin really easily.

I bought this as a travel body moisturizer because 3 oz of lotion allowed for carry on wouldn’t be enough for a week trip.
I love it! It’s not greasy, not overly perfumed like so many Lush products and made my skin so soft.

Just slather me all over, wrap me in tin foil and call me Truffles!
This stuff smells incredible, reminds me of dark chocolate mixed with bitter Seville oranges.
I rub this all over my skin before I go to bed, it is such a delicious way to fall asleep.
Leaves my skin silky smooth and feeling oh so soft.
Nice way to have your chocolate without the calories :o)
