This is a tricky product to review. I both love and loathe it. It’s part of the Superskin range which aims to plump, hydrate and firm skin using natural ingredients. The INCI is great, as is often the case with Liz. The tube is 200ml and is expensive, around £29. I got a Black Friday discount thankfully. The lotion is a mix of oils and cream. They separate in the tube, so it must be shaken before you squeeze it out. It’s thick stuff, leaving a slight layer on your skin as it’s so hydrating. I imagine it would be fab for those with problem dry skin. It really does plump the skin. It’s my first anti-ageing/firming cream, so l have nothing to compare it to, but after using 3 times a week for a couple of weeks my bum and thighs now have smooth contours. Before, l had a rippled effect on my bum from teenage stretch marks, and slight dimpling of my thighs, but these problems have now gone, which l’m pleased about. Caveat: l’m only 8.6 stone (54kg) so l didn’t have major problems. However, l tried it out on necklace lines and it hasn’t worked there. My main problem (apart from the slightly sticky feeling and price) is the smell. It uses no artificial fragrance, so it smells like the rest of the original superskin range – a bit like sick to me! This doesn’t bother me in the face cream, but when your whole body whiffs of sick for a few hours after application it really is horrid. So, having worked out that firming creams really do work, l’ll search for one that provides similar results but with a pleasant smell.
