I have a knee injury and bought the balm and oil to try . Way prefer the oil as it spreads out easily and allows for large area application . This smells like a lot of ginger was used and I love the authenticity of the product . However in terms of effectiveness I do not feel any burn and it has yet to relieve my pain . The healing will probably take time so I think it might work as the ingredients are good and concentrated .

This product does not “heat” up – there is no warmth. I love that it’s natural and organic, and it does glide wonderfully for massaging muscles, so it is high quality. But it doesn’t heat up or help with my muscle soreness any more than the massage does, therefore I wish I hadn’t purchased it. It does smell wonderful, though! It just hasn’t worked the way that it claims to.

When I was younger I was an athlete and this stuff seriously helped aching muscles and joints. Now that I’m…not as young…and I’m experiencing the onset of arthritis, especially in my hands from the repetitive motions of my knitting hobby and knees from playing roller derby, I find this just as helpful. It’s not quite as effective as other OTC pain relievers, like Ben-Gay, but because it doesn’t have that overwhelming smell, I tend to reach for it more often. It creates the same warming sensation as those other products, without smelling like a medicine cabinet. Can’t really ask for more!

I can not believe how well this works on my ossteoarthritis in my knees.
Huge relief all day.

I originally got the Extra Strength Muscle Rub but when I used it I got super itchy, maybe it was the cayenne pepper? I returned it and got the Cooling Blend, and I really like it. I have a strange love for things in tins….and I HATE the smell of Bengay and Icy Hot. This stuff isn’t as strong as those two, but it smells sooooo good it’s a good enough trade for me. It’s a weird consistency and it’s kind of hard to get out of the tin. It can get greasy too so I don’t use that much but it really does take the edge of sore muscles in my neck and shoulders. I’ve used it on my lower back when I had cramps and it worked there too. Badger products are all natural and all that good stuff too 😀

Like another reviewer, I used this on my boyfriend and he said it helped, but I haven’t really used.

while i like that it is natural, it doesn’t work. the scent is ok, not offensive but i can’t say i like it. i have to pair it up with menthol gel in order to feel a bit of relieve.

I used this on my boyfriend a few times before. He said it helped his sore muscles some. Haven’t really used it myself though.

This stuff works wonders for me! I love the soothing smell of the ginger/lemon grass scent, which is how it smells to me. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside… plus I am a runner, so this stuff is wonderful on my sore muscles, I just rub some on and it has this wonderful warming effect that relaxes my muscles, makes me feel tons better. I have actually put this on the back of my shoulders and neck when I had a bad headache because those areas are so tense, and It worked amazingly, I even told my mom to use it when she had a migraine and now i have her hooked on this. Every one I know loves this stuff, I can’t say enough wonderful things about this…. just lovely lovely lovely! Everytime I run out I do buy more. I just ordered some badger balm extra strength sore muscle rub….can’t wait to try it!

Oh, this rub smells soo good – very fragrant with a slight orange scent. I have fibromyalgia and I rely on this for chronic pain in my calves and feet. Not only do I get relief, but it makes my feet super soft. I love ALL Badger products.
