I use this mask once a month, every month! I soak my feet for an hour before applying, and leave on for a full two hours (I would not do this if it’s your first try). This is an absolute staple in my routine.

I live in high heels, so you can imagine what my feet look like. I’m only on day 8 post-treatment, but I can already tell that I will be using this regularly.
The instructions say to use the product for 1.5 hours, but I couldn’t last that long – I don’t even like to wear socks or closed-toe shoes, so you can imagine how this feels for someone like me. You’re basically locking up your feet in plastic bags full of acid – it’s hot, itchy, and uncomfortable. If your feet aren’t that sensitive, it might not be a problem, but I took them off after an hour. Next time I try this product, I’ll be reinforcing them with some tape around the ankles, because the liquid sloshes around. Fine if you’re sitting, but not so good if you want to put your feet up!
As soon as I took off the bags and rinsed my feet, I could already see and feel the difference, even though you’re not supposed to notice anything. The bottoms of my feet were dry, but very soft. I’d have been happy if they had stayed that way, but in five days I started to notice some peeling on the bottom of one of my soles. The next day, I decided to help it along with a light pumice scrub in the shower – I’m not sure if I advise that, because after that, EVERYTHING started peeling. It’s two days later and it’s at the point where I can’t wear sandals! It gets worse every time I take a shower. It looks like I have some kind of skin disease 🙁
The good news is, the new skin underneath the portions that have peeled is baby soft. I haven’t seen that kind of skin since I was a teenager! I’m looking forward to nice feet in a few days!

In Seoul, this foot mask is 1+1 for about 8,000 KRW. This mask is both disturbing and perfect. After sliding into the plastic socks, pour in the liquid (a bit strong smelling), tape it up and sit back. At first, nothing will happen. But as the days go on and your feet sweat or you shower, your skin will start coming off. It is disturbing in this sense that you will take off your shoe, and suddenly you see 1/4 of your foot skin all crumpled and stuck to your sock. You will be able to peel off large sections of your skin. And after about a week and a half, you can go back to wear sandals with super soft/clean feet.
If you do not want to keep up with foot care, you will not like this product. It makes your skin fresh and soft, so you need to use lotions and scrubs if you want to keep it that way.

Utter and complete waste of money. I have what I presume to be fairly average feet, callous-wise. I was getting monthly pedicures but the extravagance and the question of cleanliness always bothered me so I decided to try the at-home method. I bought the Super Peeling Liquid from Amazon after reading all of the rave reviews. Got my package two days later and did the whole routine as described so well below. That was 3 weeks ago and NADA, zip, zilch, nothing. No peeling whatsoever. I may as well have soaked my feet in dishwater for all of the good it did. E-mailed Amazon and got my money back.
Bottom-line – Don’t waste your money.

The previous review is pleasingly detailed so I won’t rehash the packaging or product claims. I left this foot peel on for two hours with my feet dangling off the side of the bed to make sure the very watery liquid stayed inside the double layered “socks.” And after that effort, I barely saw any effect. I could pick rough skin off, but my feet weren’t really peeling. I got frustrated after eleven days of nothing and used a glycolic and lactic acid facial peel on my feet for a few minutes and then showered. That seemed to have more effect than this foot peel. Using a Diamancel foot file took off even more skin than this peel did.
I’m not going to give it a 1 lippie rating since I did have some very hard skin on my heels. Perhaps another round of this would work better now that I’ve removed some of that. But the peeling effect I hoped this would have did not happen, so I doubt I’d buy it again. I purchased mine from Amazon after reading a glowing review there. I’d probably be more inclined to buy the Japanese version of Baby Foot than buy this again, but I’ve heard you may need to do two rounds of that, too. If you’ve got hooves like me, be prepared to do more than one application of this to prettify your feet.

This is exactly what I have needed for almost a year now. I have always had very smooth, quite sensitive feet, but last summer I walked barefoot outside and my feet for some reason became rough Even now, 9 months later, my feet are still scruffy – there has been little improvement. A lady I know said she has had the same thing happening: she had really smooth, sensitive feet. Once, she really scruffed up her feet and they never returned to the way they were before! I really hoped this chemical exfoliator will be able to help! I bought my pack from ebay. If out have sensitive skin, you might want to do a patch test first: apply the product to the top of the foot for 20-30 minutes. If irritation occurs, you probably don’t want to use this. Some places say you should use this for 1-4 hours, some say 1-1.5 hours. I went with the last option (explanation about why under).
Do NOT use this if you have broken skin or other open wounds on your feet! The whole process is said to take out 2 weeks – in between you will have flaky feet from day 4-6 till about day 11-14, so keep this in mind if you want to do this for an event where your feet are going to be visible.
Here’s a summary of my experience:
Day 1:
I put the socks on that are supplied with this. Take a good look at them: they have another pair inside – it’s important to put your foot in both pairs. The inner pair is there to soak the exfoliant up and deliver it higher up on the foot, so you don’t only get exfoliation of your sole. I poured the liquid in, took off the paper from the “tonymoly” sticker on the socks, used it to fasten the socks tighter (see instructions on the packaging – you’re supposed to use the sticker so that the sock doesn’t hang loosely around your foot). Then I put another pair of socks on, so all of this would fit more snugly.
After an hour, I decided to wait for another half hour, as I had no feeling of discomfort. After 1 hour 15 minutes had passed, my feet began to tingle a little… I began to worry about if I should go and take everything off at this point, but I waited out the 1.5 hours. Then washed my feet thoroughly. Of, course, my feet felt all pruny and “swollen” from having them in liquid for so long. The pruny look went away… but not the sensation.
BTW: the exfoliating liquid smells quite nice and SPA-like 🙂 It also took off my gel polish pedicure so don’t expect your nail polish to survive this…
Day 2:
My toe is itching!!! No flaking, the pruny sensation is still there. No sign of allergy yet though. Later: rash on my toe. Nothing really bad, but no one like rashes, right?
Day 3:
My toe is still itching! I’m really wondering why though – I didn’t have any cuts on it when doing the treatment. Feet look like always – no peeling yet. My feet no longer feel swollen – they feel mostly like normal feet again
Day 4:
I’m having a very slight itch all over the foot, but no peeling yet. The skin does feel a little drier and almost slightly rubberised though, but pretty healthy… it’s hard to imagine that it’s supposed to begin to peel… we’ll see what happens tomorrow, I guess.
Day 5:
Feet aren’t flaking, but I see some very slightly loosened skin on the sole of my foot – it looks like like very thin white streaks under the skin.
In the evening today I lost my first tiny flake of skin 😀
Day 6:
There are a few very small areas that are flaking. Otherwise, a lot of the skin looks and feels very roughed-up. Not much of a change.
Day 7: PEELING STARTED
Today my feet finally began peeling. At this point it is only at the front side of the foot, but I believe the whole sole-part will be peeling soon. I was impatient, so I peeled off some flakes carefully, and it didn’t hurt or wasn’t uncomfortable at all. I ended up peeling A LOT of skin off, so I will not have it lying around in my socks.
Day 8:
Today there was quite a lot of peeling, also on my heels and toes. Only NOW is when I would say my feet are peeling properly – I picked off two handfulls of skin 🙂 I was almost afraid the mask wouldn’t work because it took “such long” time before the peeling began 😛 I see I will still have some of the thick skin under my foot that I got from walking in heels a lot, but it’s much thinner – the way it was before I managed to scrape up my feet – now my feet aren’t scratchy any more 🙂 The skin is lying everywhere on my couch though – at this point you should probably wear socks
Day 9:
Another two handfulls of skin came off, now mostly from the top of my feet. The new skin is nice and soft 🙂 I really do recommend not to pick on your feet at places where the skin was previously quite thick – it tends to not come off easily and takes with it an extra layer of skin, which will cause you to get an uneven result
Late in the day my feet are flaking like crazy, everywhere! The new skin is soft and not scratchy, but there are still some slightly thicker areas left. I actually bought two of these peels – I was expecting to have some thicker skin left. Overall, this process is not annoying or traumatic in any way, and the result is so far so good.
Day 10:
My feet are still flaking, but in tiny flakes I cannot pick off
Day 11:
Not much more flaked off today
Day 12:
I picked off another handful of skin. Not much left now 🙂
Day 13:
Now there are just tiny flakes left. I’m actually very happy with the result – my feet are very smooth. Although not all of the calluses are fully gone, they are much thinner 🙂
Day 16:
Only NOW there are absolutely no peeling – there was some tiny, tiny flakes left at the end that took a little longer to fall off
THE RESULT:
My feet are not scratchy any more! 😀 A LOT of skin came off. There are still some thicker areas left on my feet though – I will have to wait about a month to do another treatment again and see if I can get rid of that – will update after.
