Well , I normally use Weleda Rose Body Oil but I thought I would try something different.
Dr . H rose oil . the smell of rose is there but it is v v subtle.
Mostly this is just an A grade fantastic body oil . Apart from the subtle rose smell ( I would like more rose !! ) this is the best rose body oil I have used. Refines, smooth, absorbed well and really makes a difference to my skin.
Highly recommended. I love the pump system as well. Saves on wastage.
Better than Weleda’s version though Weleda’s version has a great smell of rose-geranium

I got this as a gift from someone who knows that I’m a closeted lover of the scent of roses. Weird, I know– the only rose I’ll fess up to wearing is Stella McCartney’s Stella Sheer. I’m notoriously snotty-picky about what kind of rose I’ll wear– I want to smell beautiful, but not like my grandmother.
This body oil sure smells of fresh, full-bloom red rose. It’s also underscored by Dr. Hauschka product’s signature herbal smell, which I love immensely. The fragrance of this oil alone has me over the moon every time I smell it. The scent is quite light and dissipates somewhat quickly, so I like to put it on before bed for maximum scent enjoyment.
As an oil, this product is amazing. I typically hate feeling oily or greasy in any way, but in winter my skin gets irritated if you even LOOK at it. It doesn’t look or feel dry to the touch, but damn if it doesn’t feel awful. I also have several tiny spots of cold-weather induced eczema, which is a total bummer. Most things irritate me or are just too oily for me to stand, not this!
You may need to use more than you expect at first. This oil absorbs very quickly. I use it everywhere except my feet and hands, where I like to use a light shea based cream for a bit more moisture. Within minutes you’ve got the most gentle glow and plumped up, velvety skin ever. And it doesn’t feel like you’ve used product at all! However, if you’re looking for that weird baby/mineral oil sheen, this isn’t for you.
When I use this before bed, I use a slightly heavier hand and wake up with perfectly balanced skin. Goodbye scratchy elbows and tight feeling skin! I highly recommend this to anyone who has generally normal skin on their body but is a bit more dry in the winter. It’s pricey but lasts a long time, and is great when used as a “treat” or “pick me up”!

Does not moisturize my skin at all, even though it’s an oil
I also can’t detect much scent, very faint (and I don’t even like very much scent in products). I can use it as a cellulite massage oil, since I can use enough for the massage but not end up with an oily behind, but that’s it. No repurchase.

This body oil smells exactly like sweet, ripe roses. It’s infused with real rose essential oil, containing only natural ingredients. Very true to the flower, lush and uncomplicated… It’s way to pricey for me to use it as a body oil, but I recently purchased 10 ml for about 1,5 $ and use it as a perfume oil. Works wonderfully when I need a rose kick.

This is a great oil for moisturizing the skin. I found that it sunk right in and did not cause any breakouts. The scent of this is fantastic and very relaxing. My only complaint, as others have mentioned here also, is the price. I could easily buy a basic carrier oil and add some rose essential oil to it to make a body oil at a fraction of the price of Dr. H’s rose oil. Still though if you want to indulge yourself then this is the product to use.

This is a good oil.The scent is light and fresh.Absorbs nicely.I even use it as a hair treatment. If it wasn’t so expensive,I’d repurchase. But for now,I’ll finish this up,and look for a cheaper alternative.

This is very nice, but the weleda rose oil is so much better imo. This stuff is very soothing and moisturising, but I much prefer the scent of the weleda version. If you like this, I highly recommend trying the weleda rose oil.

275th REVIEW!!! I got this as a sample. nice… very lightly scented. Need to look into the Weleda version before I actually buy a rose body oil. Liked on how it was natural.

I recieved a little vial of this when I ordered a compact from The Peaceful Company. I generally steer clear of rose- scented products because they usually smell unwearably strong. This has a mild scent, is a nice, light oil that absorbes realyl quickly. I would buy this the full size definitely.

You get the scent of real roses and real aromatherapy benefits. I used to get cramps during my periods but this has been minimised and I believe that it was through the use of this product. It also helps to keep my skin very sensitive skin smooth and silky and is light enough for daily use even in warm climates. The only drawback is that the rose scent is a little light and does not last the entire day. Overall, a good product for a lady to try as long as you are not allergic to peanuts because this product is peanut oil based.
