I purchased this in the small bath oil size and I really like combining it with Chanel No5 oddly enough. This is one of the best rose scents I have ever purchased.

This is a wonderful bath oil. I’m not sure about the other JM scents but IMO, there would be no need to buy the cologne or the body lotion or cream – this stuff does it all. I use it after my shower; if I just lightly rinse off afterwards the scent is with me ALL day – and of course the benefit of smooth, soft skin from the oil. Sometimes that is too much and just want a hint of it; or I want to use another JM cologne afterwards. Then I rinse more of it off and I’m good to go. The skin softening property of this oil is amazing and long lasting – way more than any other of my bath products. And if that weren’t enough, the bonus is – however you decide to use it your bathroom smells great!

I fell in love with this. It does say it is a bath oil, but it does give bubbles. This was a nice surprise. I purchased the glass bottle, which the sales assistant told me that I can refill this with the cheaper plastic bottle. I love the smell, I am not a huge fan of rose scented products but this is different. A soft rose scent with a hint of sweetness to it. It makes the bathroom and hallway smell nice as well.

A complete and utter indulgence, and one totally worth it. Have been looking at this for a number of years, and my husband just spoiled me with a bottle of this AND a bottle of the verbenas bath oil (also yummy) for the holidays. I have to agree the scent is unbelievable. It is a complex rose scent with a definite greeness to it, including the smell of fresh stems in your rose bouquet. The oil itself is very light, and I find it doesn’t leave much of a coating on my bathtub. Absolutely worth the money. A great hostess present as well.

Jo Malone’s bath oils are the best high-end bath oils out there. Tremendously expensive but totally worth it and Red Roses is maybe the best of all.
– Packaging: very classy glass decanter, simple and chic square shape with a black ribbon; better to purchase the glass decanter first and then refill it with the plastic refills
– Texture: bath oil, leaves skin pleasantly fragranced and moisturised; transforms any bath into a pure sensual experience
– Fragrance: the Red Roses is a clean green rose which is rather complex and totally unique. Uplifting yet recomforting at the same time.
Overall a very unique product which I repurchased many times already, despite the high price. I tried many other brands and there is no substitute.
Thanks to its classy packaging this bath oil is also a great birthday or Christmas present. I even offered it as a thank you present and it was very much appreciated.
I strongly recommend this product as well as other fragranced bath oils from Jo Malone. JM sell a starter kit with mini bottles of all their bath oils and it’s a great way to pick your favorite.

I can’t believe I am giving such an expensive product five stars but it is out of this world. I have extremely dry skin and was told not to take hot baths, which deprived me of my favorite form of stress relief, and I was miserable until I ordered a sample of this on Ebay – and it’s incredible. Just two tiny capfuls turned my bath into a gentle foaming bath. The smell is divine and my skin is soft and smooth and NOT DEHYDRATED! I just bought a sampler of 12 differnt bath oils and am giddy giddy giddy.

This stuff is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING- PURE HEAVEN!!! It smells soooooo divine and leaves your skin lightly fragrant and silky smooth after a long relaxing soak in the tub. This is such a wonderful (albeit VERY expensive) find!

This is amazing! I was never a ‘flowery’ kind of girl, but this smells so good, better than the real thing, and the consistency is great – not oily or filmy, it makes the water feel smooth and leaves you soft but not greasy and smelling beautiful. The scent lingers, but if you want to intensify then layer with the body lotion. Expensive but well worth every drop (and you only have to use a little to make your bathroom smell like a rose garden!).
