I have rosacea, so I’m very, very careful about what I put on my skin. Generally, tea tree oil is a no-no, but I’ve had no problems with The Green Balm. Maybe because it’s one of the last listed ingredients? I use it as an occlusive when I’m outside in frigid, windy, polluted New York City in winter, and find that it’s very soothing and does the job of keeping in moisture and keeping out chapping. I really like the small size in the white container – great for carrying on a plane or throwing in my bag.

This product is a real skin savior. It is multi-purpose and works equally well as a cleansing balm, a lip balm, a cut/scratch/bruise ointment and as a night cream. It has tremendously improved the state of my dry and redness prone skin. Great as an eye cream as well and seems to condition the lashes too. The smell is herbal, the texture is grainy but melts when you massage it on. No nasty ingredients and reasonably priced as well. Have repurchased numerous times and will continue as long as they keep selling it.

I use it as night cream and every morning I wake up with baby soft skin.I used a lot of face oils in the past, from L’Oreal,John Masters,Palmers…and I always thought that I’m nourishing my skin with these gorgeous oil blends…Then I started reading labels, and I was shocked, the oils were at the bottom of the ingredients, and at the top were chemicals and sunflower oil.Really I’m paying that much money for “colored and parfeumed Sunflower oil”.So I was on a hunt for a organic face oil,and found this.It melts in your hands and becomes oil.Love it,will repurchase for sure.

Wow! Wowowowowowowow! I was not expecting this balm to be so darn fabulous. I purchased this product in both the travel size and the full size. They come in small plastic tubs at a modest cost. I prefer glass tubs or pots to plastic ones, especially with natural products, but that does not affect the quality of the product overall. After getting laser done, I decided to try this “healing” balm, because I always look kind of funny for a few days afterward. I had really bad swelling from the laser and after I had washed my face, the laser marks looked like fresh welts and were stinging. I applied this overnight and woke up in the morning and my face looked significantly better. This balm removed the majority of the redness and moisturized, but did not leave me feeling dry, tight, or itchy. Previously, I had been using some Avene products designed specifically for post-treatment phases, but I think that this (much less expensive and more natural) alternative blows Avene’s products out of the water. Give this a try- it is definitely worth it.

5 Rating Review
1. Effectiveness: This is essentially a balm and not a cream. The consistency is smoother than most balms and it melts quickly onto your hands. Due to it being a balm, it’s quite hard to spread it evenly across the skin. It leaves quite a greasy film on your skin so I wouldn’t recommend using it for your hands or anywhere on your body that you don’t want a greasy shine on. I used it just before bed so it didn’t bother me too much. Overall, my skin felt somewhat hydrated but as it was so hard to spread evenly I was missing its hydration properties on some parts. (6/10)
2. Fragrance: The main fragrance note of this balm is definitely tea tree oil, which fits well with the “healer image” that this balm is marketed as. It’s quite strong, so for people who like subtle scents I’d avoid this product. (6/10)
3. Results: I’m afraid this balm didn’t do too much for me. It certainly offered some temporarily soothing for my itchy patches but by the morning they were was still itchy, so I wouldn’t say it actually healed anything. It did provide temporary hydration for my dry skin so on that area it did work, albeit temporarily. (6/10)
4. Packaging: Móa The Green Balm comes either in a 15 ml or 50 ml plastic pot. From a size perspective it’s excellent, as you can fit it in to even a small pocket (the 15 ml version) and the larger pot is actually quite small as well. However, the pot makes it really hard to get the right amount out and what I didn’t like was that the balm ended up mostly under my nails. It was also hard to appreciate how much balm you actually needed for the application. (4/10)
5. Value: The 15 ml pot is priced at 4.99 GBP and the 50 ml pot at 9.99 GBP. I haven’t been using the product too much as I wasn’t so excited about the results I was getting, so at this point I still have half the amount left of my 50 ml pot. I wouldn’t say this balm is expensive, it does seems reasonably priced for what you get. (7/10)
As this product contains no toxic ingredients and the company is only using organic herbs and oils to create it, I really wanted to love the balm. Unfortunately it didn’t help with my dry and itchy skin problems, but will update here again in case I find a more effective use for it.

This stuff is seriously amazing and I can’t live without it. I can’t believe how much of a difference this has made on my skin. My skin is combination, both dry and oily yet extremely sensitive. I break out way too often from most facial products.
I use this as a moisturizer at night and wake up with my skin looking amazing. This clears up all of my blemishes within 1-2 uses. The ingredients are actually real so my face is never irritated with any alcohol/parabens. The only thing I don’t like about this is how little product it contains. It costs me 20$ for a 50ml jar. They need to make bigger jars.

This little pot of wonder is the best thing that I have included in my skincare routine in the last few years. My skin is sensitive and it dries out, I have been fighting dry patches and redness for so long and I just didn’t know what else to do. Suddenly this started appearing repeatedly in the recommended section of a website I visit often and I took it as a sign. IT WORKS AS EVERYTHING. I use it as a cleanser and as a toner/moisturiser. It has tea tree oil too, so it’s helped disappear some annoying spots I had underneath my forehead skin. Dry patches are completely gone as long as I use this every day and redness has been considerably reduced. The only thing I can complain about is the size. They really need to make bigger pots. It sure will be worth the money.
It has also helped heal my dry elbows, my heels, has helped heal a deep scratch, my chapped lips, etc. So basically, Elizabeth Arden’s 8-Hour Cream balm form.
I think I will be repurchasing this for the rest of my life.

I saw this product in an issue of Marie Claire and I thought ” I got to have this!” I am a sucker for products that have a gazillion uses. So I searched for this and found their website: thegreenbalm.com. It was £19.99 plus shipping in handing since I live in the USA. Searched some more and found another site and bought it.
This can be used as a cleanser for your face to a neosporin like product. It smells very herbal and is a pretty green. I used it on my son’s elbow area since he fell off his bike. After three days it looks so much better. Plus I used it on my daughter’s nose after she fell off a swing and scruffed it up. Honestly it could be a mixture of positive thinking and the product.
Would I buy this product again? Yes I would! I may have to buy two. Love this!!
