I love this so much and have used it for ages. I can never be bothered to moisturise everyday so I put drops in the bath. If I have a bath before bed I put this in and I can smell the lovely scent. I come out all nice and moisturised and pat dry. Mega cheap and perfect. I love JandJ.

I love this product. The smell is so smoothing. It works best right after the shower and when your skin is still damp. I lather all over my body and then let the it soak in for awhile. Then, I pat dry with a towel. It makes my skin silky smooth 🙂
Loves it!

I’ve been getting this product since I was in high school, both the official Johnson & Johnson and the generic version. Both very dandy. Pretty nice for lightweight moisture for the legs and arms coming out of the shower. Or, for that matter, my mother used to make up her own rose scented baby oil that she’d put in her bath for a cheap scented bath and I’m sure lavender baby oil would be great for a cheap scented bath as well. Though, as other reviewers have pointed out, the scent isn’t what you’d call a true lavender, reminds me of J & J Bedtime Bath. Very pleasant smell that would be flattering on just about any woman, especially in summer weather when it’s nice to have a clean scent. I would advise trying to get a pump bottle to transfer this into because it’s very easy to spill the baby oil in its original bottle, especially when it’s very full.
Why a score of three when I obviously like this product and have been getting it for decades? Well, when I consider in comparison a product like sweet almond oil, lavender baby oil doesn’t deliver as much in the moisturizing department and isn’t as multi-faceted. I can use sweet almond oil on my hair, face, and body in various combinations and applications. Lavender baby oil, I can’t really do that. However, lavender baby oil is cheaper and tends to be easier to obtain the sweet almond oil. So, I get lavender baby oil when I’m tight on money or don’t have access to sweet almond oil. But, although I know of other products that are more impressive when it comes to moisturizing or being multi-tasking, I still get this product because of the smell. It’s a really nice way in warm weather to smell nice, but not fussy.
