Just started trying out hand masks this year and this is my favorite so far! Really easy to use and adhesive straps are easy to secure solo. The gel mask inside the glove is so moisturizing and smells divine. I left them on for 20 min and the gel remaining on my hands absorbed easily into my hands that felt smooth, soft and moisturized but not greasy. Will definitely buy again.

I wash my hands a lot, so they’re always parched. Winter is especially rough. These gloves helped prevent a crack from forming on one of my fingers, which would have been painful. But I also don’t think it did anything different than two nights of Neutrogena’s Norwegian formula hand cream does. I felt a little weird massaging the gel in the gloves around, but my hands did look moisturized and plump in the morning after wearing them all night inside cotton gloves. There was no moisturizing benefit felt after that next day was up.
My recommendations to whip your dry hands into shape: open the package of these and lay them out, making sure to separate the paper layers at the top so you can slip your hands in easily; use a moisturizing hand scrub and lightly rinse; put these gloves on, securing them tightly, and massage your hands per the instructions; put cotton gloves or even socks on your hands on top of the gloves and go to sleep. You can use your favorite quick dry hand lotion (like OPI Avojuice in Sweet Lemon Sage) during the day, but use the Neutrogena at night for sure. I put gloves on top in case I touch my face at night. It’ll take a few nights, but your hands will slowly return from the dead and stop looking parched and lined.
TL;DR: these will help temporarily, but don’t expect the effects to last. I think they’d be great the night before your engagement shoot, wedding day, or any other time your hands will be photographed.

I kind of thought hand masks were a gimmick, but my hands had become ridiculously dry and my cuticles were rough and ragged two winters ago that I decided to try this mask out since I could buy a single one. I put the mask on clean, dry hands as instructed and waited. I slid my cotton gloves on top, just so I wouldn’t have to see the weird plastic gloves, but I could still feel and hear the crinkling plastic. The oil inside is lightweight and very slick, so at first I didn’t think it was going to do anything. I tried to leave this on overnight, but the feeling of the plastic was too much. I ended up leaving them on for an hour then just wearing my cotton gloves over the remaining hand oil for the rest of the night. By morning, my hands were soft and smooth while my ragged cuticles were calmed. This mask seemed to accomplish what rich hand creams and oils couldn’t. As for anti-aging effects, my skin looked temporarily brighter, but I didn’t see anything amazing in that regard. That first mask seemed to jump start my hands in the right direction and I only need to use a mask every 3-6 months. I always keep an extra mask for when my hands get really desperate. I tried Sephora’s own brand of hand masks (all three of their formulas) and still liked Karuna better. I’ll buy this again.
