This lotion goes really well for the hands and it does restores dry hands.there is pomegranate in it,but it does not smell that much on the skin. Really nice also for the body as well. Love it!

Got this when I was looking for a paraben-free body lotion.
It works pretty well. But could be less moisturising in low-humidity conditions.
I add a drop or two of sweet almond/ jojoba oil with a few pumps of this lotion and it moisturises really well. A lotion that I will repurchase.
To me this version – Intensive healing smells pretty much the same as the Daily hydrating version. Smell is ok for me. Does not linger for long.
This bottle is huge and not too expensive.

I got this on sale for 4.99 making it one of the cheapest body lotions I have ever bought and I love it. This is my go to body lotion for almost everything, its non sticky, moisturizing and has a nice light scent which doesn’t compete with my perfume. Recently I got a pretty bad sunburn 🙁 and I didn’t feel like slathering sticky aloe vera all over my body so I used this instead. The burn was gone in less time than usual, there was no peeling and I ended up with a nice tan. I’ll make sure to have some of this around at all times, for the price its amazing, you cant go wrong with this one!

Amazing product! It is so moisturizing with great long term effects. It absorbs quickly. I do not care for the herbal scent, though.

This has got to be one of the most moisturizing lotions I’ve ever tried. Lucky for me I usually find it for 50% off, so a huge container is about $2.50 where it is usually $5.00. I like to buy 2 of these at a time. Highly recommend. I can’t say that I’ve ever had a bad experience with a St. Ives lotion, but this one is definitely one of the better ones.

St. Ives Intensive Healing Body Lotion is said to heal dry, cracked skin and is clinically proven to keep skin moisturized all day. This lotion is dermatologist tested, gentle for sensitive skin, and is made of 100% natural moisturizers (the lotion it’s self isnt 100% natural though). This lotion is pretty good for you. Aside from being hypoallergenic, the formula of this lotion is also paraben and phthalate free, as well as vegan. This product’s packaging is also somewhat environmentally friendly, being made of 20% post consumer material, and obviously being recyclable. This product is not tested on animals and made in the USA. My mum picked this up for me at WalMart for less than four bucks for 21fl oz (621ml).
Packaging is a tall, rectangular, white plastic bottle with a red cap and white pump. Not very attractive, but definitely functional. I have no issues with the pump jamming. The label on both the front and back of the bottle offer a ton of information and facts about the product, hence why my intro was a mile long. The label also projects a natural product image, and features cherries. Yinz know how I feel about cherries. That alone makes me like the label.
St. Ives says that this lotion has a new, light, hypoallergenic scent. It’s that cherry almond scent a lot of drugstore lotions have that no one really likes. I don’t, but I don’t hate it either. It’s pleasant in a “smells like your mum” way, and it really is light, and fades away just a few minutes after application. It shouldn’t be too bothersome. It’s definitely better than the unscented version, which is gross and plasticy. I described it like the scent of DermaScrub here in the review of the matching hand cream. But lets be honest, no one buys St. Ives for their amazing scents.
The lotion it’s self is thick and white with a smooth texture. Despite being so thick, it sinks in really fast and doesn’t feel greasy or heavy on the skin. It leaves your skin looking and feeling healthy and legitimately moisturized. Does the moisture last all day? Just about.
This lotion contains several different, natural moisturizers, such as sunflower, grape, and cranberry seed oils, olive leaf extract, and cocoa, shea, and mango seed butters. The explanation of each natural ingredient can be found in St. Ives’ Natural Ingredient Glossary, which is linked in my side bar. But really, that’s like a million different moisturizers, all of which are great for your skin, so this lotion leaves your skin deeply conditioned. It also does make your skin look fresher, though I don’t know about younger. My skin already looks young. I’m like 20. You’ll have to test it for yourself if you want to see if this lotion really has anti-aging properties. Judging by the amount of natural oils and butters in it, I think it might have a little bit of an anti-aging benefit.
I don’t really have anything negative to say about this lotion. Well ok, it doesn’t smell so good, but it’s not really supposed to. It delivers on every single one of it’s promises. How often does any product do that? Well, St. Ives products do that consistently, but I’m talking in general.
I definitely recommend this lotion if you want a great, relatively natural body lotion that will genuinely condition and nourish your skin, not just make the top layer or two feel soft. I hope you’re willing to sacrifice in the scent department though. Aside from being a skin win, this lotion is also a value win. In the 6-7 week I’ve used this product every day, all over, I’ve only worked my way through about half of it. And $4 or less for 21fl oz isn’t a bad deal at all. When it comes to body lotion, I can’t think of a better one than St. Ives Intensive Healing Body Lotion.

BEST body lotion on the market for sensitive skin! I have ultra fair, sensitive, dry skin and EVERYTHING breaks me out in a rash but this. The ingredients are so simple that you could put on a newborn baby. If you want a perfumed girlie lotion this isn’t it .. BUT if you have problem dry, sensitive skin then you found your lotion! Plus its like $5 for a huge bottle.

Very blah lotion for me. I got this as a budget option to the Curel I usually get and wasn’t very impressed. I do have keratosis pilaris on my arms, and very sensitive blotchy red skin in the winter, so I needed something allergen and fragrance free. I believe unless you’re using pure oils on your body, though, you get what you pay for. Nice pump bottle, though.

As far as drug store moisturizers go, St. Ives has always been very good to me and this lotion is no exception. It is nicely thick and rich and doesn’t leave a greasy residue behind. Great moisturizer for winter months.
