I got a sample of this from Barney’s three years ago and I have no been able to stop thinking about it since. I FINALLY bought the full size and oh man it is BETTER than I remember. It is so moisturizing, smells like a dream and leaves you with a beautiful glow. I got this on sale and spent less than 40$. Shipping from tatcha is free! Tatcha also beautifully packaged my box sent samples and even a hand written thank you card. That surprised me for a purchase less than 40$. I’m really impressed how much they care about even small orders and also happy to have this body butter in my life. I don’t use it everywhere. Just the areas that are exposed so I smell great. The rest of my body I use something cheap. Makes it last a long time and I still get to feel luxurious and glowy

I’ve had the travel sized version of this a couple of times and I only hesitate repurchasing due to price. I love, love, love the scent and I think it does a nice job of moisturizing. I agree it’s a bit pricey. Be sure to rub this into your skin completely before dressing or going to bed. I ended up having blue marks on my white sheets, however it seems to come out in the laundry.

Bought a travel size of this moisturiser to qualify for a free gift with purchase. In terms of formulation, I will say that Tatcha has done a nice job with this cream – it’s velvety smooth and kept my skin super moisturised during a weeklong sojourn in Palm Springs (so, basically, a legit desert). It also has that classic Tatcha scent which, to those of you unfamiliar with it, is uplifting, refreshing and vaguely citrus-y with a soft white floral note. (Translation: it smells great.)
Now while I could easily justify buying the travel size of this cream for $12 USD, I will definitely not be buying the full size. As a rule I hate splurging on body products that I’m going to be slathering over every square inch of myself and so they have to be REALLY good for me the bite the bullet and cough out the cash. And at $48 for a 200ml tub, this moisturiser just isn’t good enough for me to justify the cost. At that price point, I’d rather spend my money on Aesop’s (vastly better) geranium body balm, which is actually a more cost effective option in terms of price per ounce.
But it’s not just the price of the Tatcha cream that puts me off from repurchasing it. The major issue I had with this product was the colour of the cream which is……….wait for it……. indigo! (I know, who’d have ever thought?) Is it attractive? Well, yes…in the pot, the colour looks lovely. But on your skin? Not so much. Although the indigo colour mostly disappears once you rub the cream in, it never completely fades away and leaves behind an ashy gray cast on your skin. Now, I don’t know about you but I prefer my legs to look tanned and golden, not like I’m suffering from deep vein thrombosis. Plus there’s the fact that some of the cream inevitably ends up getting trapped under your fingernails, which makes them look really, really dirty. PSA, people: indigo under your fingernails = the exact same shade of grey that you probably associate with a (long built-up) accumulation of dead skin cells. So…yeah. There’s that to consider.
Bottom line: I love Tatcha, I really do, but the conceptualisation of this cream was clearly not well thought through. I’d recommend giving this product a miss and spending that money instead on one of the many genuinely outstanding products in Tatcha’s line.

So I don’t know about this product. My biggest bone to pick with it is the fragrance. It’s just off putting and strong. It smells like a bottle of Clinique happy was dumped in. I find it odd there is such a strong fragrance for a product geared towards eczema as fragrance is NEVER good for that. I bought this to use on my FACE not body as the face version is obscenely priced and 1.7 oz. This is a much better deal and they share a lot of the same ingredients if a lotion is advised not to be used on the face this is a companies way of making more money. If they claim something can’t be used on the face it should be not used ANYWHERE on the body(skin is skin).
The texture of the product is very nice it feels soothing and rich. Again my only problem is the nasty fragrance( that I don’t want on my face or body)
